| If you cannot find the server use this address. Matchmaking seems to be down at the moment.

| It is a bit late now, but I could not work out how to join by direct IP.....
Where the server list is normally, I clicked on blue + box and entered the ip address, but nothing.
Also I don't know how to ad ip's to bookmarks.
I remember doing it a few years ago, but the cells required seem to have vapourised.

| Same here, people dissappeared in the pits, when leaving the later, disco.
Otherwise, I felt it worked better than yesterday, and the driving seemed improved as well.

| One maybe stupid question guys. When i looked at the indy race from 1988 the start was normally 3wide from first up to third pace lap. Why we have to do this formation lap with start in the pit? | |

| Because the game goes crzy if we start single line or three wide behind the AI SC. We have to do a normal start behind it and once we are alone and the game has given us the green flag we can finally do what we want. | |

Hey, guys. I haven't been able to find the server, just like the others. I'll put that on ISI. But . . . . While testing off-line, with the latest AIW/GDB patch, fps is dropping from 70-80 down to 2 as soon as a yellow is thrown. And, yes, graphics are turned down. After thousands of miles of testing this month, that has not happened before. Not criticism. Just observation.

| I need to clarify ans other think. During yesterday test when we started from pitlane Alan was on the left in first row and i was on the right. Alan went to the first position but spotter wrote me "Stay behind pacecar" and the pacecar sign above it was highlighted in yellow. Dont know which order received Alan but where i have to be after start into first pacelap? Which position in row is the first and which is the second? Left is the first and right the second? And if i was on the second position why spottes told me Stay behind pacecar. Anyway in the race will be better that we all know our position and know who is where. | |

The game is very sensitive to the moment you start from stopped in the grid. If the car that is one position before you delays even just a bit and you get rolling before him, the game can give you the position and tell the other car to be now behind you. Ideally, everybody should start from stopped exactly after the car who is one position up does.

| It is exactly the same as Phoenix. We are all in rows of two. So for you and Alan (Alan on pole, left, you 2nd, right) will be told to follow the safety car. Simple, that is the car in front of you. Alan is alongside you.
3rd (Left) will be told to follow Alan and 4th will be told to follow you.
It's nothing to do with how you start, first and second (1st row) will always be told to follow the safety car. Regardless of one sneaks in front of the other or sets off quicker.
tRactor rolling starts work in rows of two, so you will always be told to follow the car that is in front of you on your side of the track. Since row 1 only has the SC in front of them, they will both be told to follow it.
Only under full course yellow (not the formation/pace lap) will you be told to follow the car that is in the position in front of you.

Not criticism. Just observation. I think the problem is that the AI aren't very good at reacting to accidents particularly on the main straightaway. I have had several 25+ car pileups during my off-line races. I'm banking on this not happening on Sunday, as my computer has no chance at keeping up when there is that much debris on the track.
