Round 9 - Knockhill [May 10th]

Visual representation of me practicing around knockhill. It's gonna be a miracle if no cars roll over the sausages. Oh, and of course I will race.

Terrible quali as well due to the internet. I lost seconds on the straights as the game just straight up froze.

Sorry for absence, I'm just back to home now.

Race 1 : I was distracted by the cat (wanting some food) and I crashed into the end of the pit wall.

@Dave, throw it out the window, mine has a habit of standing in front of the monitor 

5 mins until qualifying 2.

Since Ben is back and Petr is absent, I'll drive Petr's BMW in heat 2

I just went for a moment and then I remembered you live in houses, I live in a 9th floor

Such a difficult race track! Fun when you are on your own and get a rhythm going, but you lose all boundaries when you are in traffic. Had a lot of fun racing Wilks, he's pro. No hard feelings for what happened in race 2, classy move to let me by after all! Just a shame Ray was caught up in it.

Overall pleased with a 3rd and 5th this round.

Race 2 : The cat has been fed and has gone outside.
A sideways Nissan right in front of me end my chances on the first lap, nowhere to go so damaged on lap one.

Another night gone and still no Mondeo podium.

My PB would have put me 6th-7th on the grid for each race, instead it was 13th and 18th. The carnage in race 1 meant I had a shot at a top 5 placing until someone hit me and removed the rear wing. The Mondeo isn't the finest handling car when all bits are attached to it and it certainly isn't without rear downforce, but I still got points. Race 2 was a disaster, I was lapping slower than I did before with a smashed up car. Thankfully there was a great fight with Nikos in the Volvo to keep me busy, and I finally got by on the last lap.

Needless to say I'm not expecting much for Oulton Park.
