I'm classified, yes !!!! Thanks to my friend Claudio Augusto, unfortunately he did not get the classification but the training and the exchanges of information were precious, and Michal Janak and Scott Urick they also helped me and with the help of them my car got better. I am very satisfied.

puh that was close. After my first run i made setup changes, and would have reached 213 mph on a second attemp, but there was no time.
I really dont know how to get fast with the 88´ cars on this track. I have no handling issues, but i am slow. In 1973 USAC i knew i can adjust the setup until i get slight oversteer, but here i have no oversteer at all, just slight understeer which i fixed with setup. Maybe its the Lola ^^

Congrats to Michael for his amazing laps and well deserved pole
and to Jari for paving the way for the Penske front row
MEH on my qualy, for some stupid reason the setup I had been using started blowing the engine on qualy day , did it offline when practicing and then also after going online, so I had to click one up the 5th gear and the car lost some turn speed, took more to heat tires and became slightly more understeery. I had to drive around that on the first two laps (hence my higher entry that Jason noticed) and when it started going quick again on the 4th lap I had already lost to Jari. Still no way I would have gotten pole from Michael but I could have been able to start from the middle. I dislike the outisde here, but such is life
Long race, so not really worried anyway

I had to make the car really loose to make it turn properly. Theres nothing to do with the wing, as it's on 1, shuffling with roll bars and diff settings helped, but not much. The most significant difference was reached by a big toe out on the rear axe. I think I have -1.20 or something like that, and the car happily hugs the yellow line. The rear end is a bit nervous on the exit, but anything is better than understeer.

You can also raise the rear of the car to get more oversteer.

Thank you, i will try both for race preparation. Anyway starting at the back should be better than in the middle

Hadn't much expectations of making the grid , just step in and drive that damn thing the first attempt my head was still at the WIP hungaroring i was working on and not checking the fual usage so you guys must fell of the chair by see the blow torch ran out of it the last lap
2nd one i just put the 5L extra init and just drove it to wait what happend
btw is this the car with the most horrible engine? can it be driven with boost 3 in race or will it lit up any higher?
I'm sorry for the bumped cars but ofcourse I'm happy to start just gonna cruise the 200laps and see where i get in the end

The only chance to drive in the race at this point is if one of the 33 drivers bows out, and you take over their car.

Not necessarily since we have 3 reserves to step in if one of the qualifiers drops out.
