US switch to summer time one week later than Europe. Globalisation rules the world, but we can't even unite on such a basic thing (and quite annoying one if you work for US from Europe ).

Actually the US switched to DST 2 weeks EARLIER than Europe did.
Regardless, Brian, Q starts at 3:30 PM Eastern from now till we change the clocks back in the fall, then we will have a week where it starts at 4:30PM until Europe changes it's clock, then it's back to 3:30PM again.

It's with regret and pain in the heart that I'm writing this.
My race-PC stopped working this morning. I wanted to do an offline race to get some feel for the starts with the 1991 mod. My PC froze. Which is not a tragedy obviously.
However, after that freeze, I could no longer restart it. Start-up always freezes on the Windows opening screen, the screen with the Windows logo hovering a bit. I then let the PC go through the repair start-up procedure a couple of times. But to little avail... Windows will no longer load.
So, this afternoon, I took the PC to the repair-shop. They needed to keep it till at least Tuesday. I'm therefore out of this race and the McLaren is available should someone want it. Sincere apologies for retiring this late.
This is a real disappointment as I have grown quiet fond of this mod over the last days. The package just fits. Moreover, and this is probably a bit of a dissident voice, I kinda like Magny-Cours. Once you get the hang of it with high down force cars like the 1991 F1's, it really has a good rhythm, IMO.
I hope to be able to catch another race in this champ later in the season, once the race PC is back to its full health. Whatever the car. Prior to getting the McLaren, I had driven offline with the Footwork. Even that I loved.
Last but not least, a very big thank you to David for the help and advice on setting up the car. Truly appreciated.
And finally: happy racing to all who make it.
Timo, very much sulking for the moment

Great first 25 laps The fight between Greg and David was awesome, motor racing at its best ! The collision was a bit of an anti-climax, but these things happen
And congrats again to Jason & Alberto for their superb job on the broadcast !

ill have to review the replay before i comment much, but i just want to say, i wish it didnt end that way. Normally i wouldnt be attempting a move at that point, but i saw you struggle, either wheel spin or a missed gear, and once i pulled to the side the game was set. the plan was to hold it low and make sure to leave you a lane outside all the way thru, but once we contacted it was just trying to save the car.
great fun while it lasted, looking forward to many more close races to come.
best, dave

That was more fun than I anticipated. I've ever been a fan of Magny Cours but there was never a boring moment.
I outdragged François Remmen and Pascal Mikula at the start, Raul dropped back and I found myself in fourth place. Not where I expected to be. My car wasn't great on a full tank so I lost a few places again, but still with a chance on scoring points. And it looked like a points finish was on the cards until my defence on Raul Jereb proved too weak and my fightback ended with rubbing the wall on the start/finish straight. They say 4th is the worst place, but 7th isn't much better.
I'm now really looking forward to Silverstone and Hockenheim, two tracks I like a lot more than this one.
