Sounds like the producers of an anime series tried to include some German words and used Google translator with Japanese as the base Razz

Those would suit the situation best Smile

Are you guys on DX7 or DX8?

Some tracks are made in higher quality and thus require DX9 in the rF config setting.

Otherwise, you get that weirdly striped sky.

i had the stripey sky with dx9. it was from something like one of the textures or details being set too low in graphic options.

It's not a DX7 8 or 9 thing.  Textures must be set at full.  You can still dial back detail levels to save RAM.

as long you keep the anistropic at x16 icm with DX9
It optimizing the textures and gain fps also looks better!

Full or High should work but not less
shadows ( there arnt that much ) tun max or full but most important  shut down shadow blur

and extra tip when the start is with 26 cars

go to your plr and make it like this; Garage Detail="0.25000

Just a note for all of you, some of you are using the wrong car looking at the Hotlaps. Please correct this!

Michal Janak, You are using the 643, you should be in the 642. The same goes for Didier Conjeaud.

Ray Riddall, you should be using the Brabham BT59Y

Sky Willis, you should be using the JH25, not the B version.

Mick Chapman should be using the B190, not the B191.

And both Footwork drivers should be using the FA11.

Paulo Rodrigues is using the wrong Fondmetal, you should be in the FA1-ME.

ANYONE USING THE INCORRECT CAR FOR A OFFICIAL SESSION WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM IT.

Here is a list showing what car you should be using.

@Richard: Can't the server be configurated to make it impossible to join with the wrong car?

EDIT: Is it somehow possible to make my list/thread a sticky or highlighted so people check it? You guys should really read it, it's not just for my own pleasure! Razz

Nevermind me then. Sometimes, higher graphic details is better :D

Could it be that it is a naming issue within the files? I haven't run anything but the '11 in the last few days.

Strangely I'm running the JS35/1 and the hotlap chart shows me in a JS-35B scratch

If that's the case, then yes it probably is. Just make sure you are in the correct car. The server is set to the correct race, so hopefully all is okay and hotlaps is displaying the wrong car.

We shall see race day.

I will check the car choice. Thanks, Richard Coxon

I'm always saying that google translator is a mess and that does not work... Now you have one more evidence. :hello: Next time I will add italian and castelaño...

But try to use it to portuguese... What a Face

PS: but if you have good setups for the Fondmetal in german...I will accept that. :D
