| Well, maybe one of my best races this season, especialy the qulification best position ever, this time i did good setup enabling me touching curbs with one tyre on them in turning in so i can drive beter and faster these left right turns the start was good now, remained 6th place and for a while got to 5th but then i dont know what happenet in comparision to test before the race the, laps wasn't so quick (my best time in race was 1s slower) , during race i lost some positions but got them back as some racers lost their race, did some mistakes which nearly cost my race but i did some goog saves when car start to make 180 spin and luckily awoided crash to wall. on 2nd half of race i struglet a little, hen it looked that i shortened distance to 5th place, overheted tyres a litle or lapped cars cost me some 2 - 3 secs so the distance growed later i shortened the distance again but tyres give up so last laps was hard to stay o track, some 7 laps from end I was so tyredthat i forgot brake to 3rd turn so went on gras but didn hit anythig at the finish line i was so happy that there is end of the race, and was happy for final 1 point at all many thank to all who organised this season and to all making livestream, especialy the last one where i am very often _________________ Status: back from retirement ,DNF, | |

| Well, congratulations to Greg for his well deserved championship title. Thank you to Jonathan Acerclinth for sending me a helping setup, which allowed me to drive the car more safely. Many thanks to HSO for organizing so brilliantly this series, and for allowing me to join, despite my low performance. I hope, and I'll strive, to do it better in 2017 with F1 1991 mod. Thank you all for your welcome at HSO. | |

| Thanks HSO for that great championship! Great coverage again. At the end i have only one question: why didn't Mick chose to drive a Lotus??? Chapman in his own car _________________ | |

| I'd like to thank everyone for participating in the F1 78 championship. For myself, it wasn't a huge success, but I did enjoy scoring a couple of top tens in one of my favorite cars, the BT46. Congrats to Greg on a well-driven series, and Gérard on fighting for the championship right to the end. I am sure we will see many more epic battles in the F1 91 series next year. _________________ | |

| I just watched the broadcast. As always, you did a brilliant job and i almost look forward to crash out in F1 1991 to watch the rest of race as a spectator Two things: 1) I really don't care that we're running on outdated rFactor. Yes, there might be more hardcore sims (and i admit that i like Assetto Corsa a lot), but it's all about the community, the excitement and enthusiasm of everybody involved. I felt exactly the same about EOLC ( www.eolc.de ) - one of the very best GPL leagues, in many ways similar to HSO. I'm convinced that fans of vintage racing are... simply different. Somehow there's more respect to history, to the real drivers and engineers. Last but not least, respect to each other at the track. It might be due to lack of runoff areas und general unforgiveness of most curcuits. Maybe because we realize that a crash would cripple or kill our opponent in real life. I don't know what it is, but it certainly makes us behave differently from a common online modern racers, you just don't see such stupid behavior here Back to the topic - regardless of what HSO decides to use as the platform, i'll follow you, that's for sure 2) Regarding simracer's abilities in real life. In my opinion, as long as we would run cars without downforce, many people would be up to speed very quickly. Racing line is no issue, nor is the power output. What is a big problem (at least from my point of view) is physical condition. Anytime i do Go-Karting, i'm immediately fast and consistent (max 0.5s difference on 30-40s tracks). But i can't hang on for too long, those 10mins stints are just enough. My longest stint ever lasted 25 minutes. Thankfully, it was not a garage track surrounded by tyres and concrete pillars, but a proper track with grass around. After some 20 minutes i flew off the fastest 45mph corner three times in a row (a rough ride ) i just gave up. I had no strength left in my arms, back and neck. Just my two cents to this topic | |
