| At first i must say that HSO is best of best simracing organisation, top notch!!! Excellent race guys. But i must apologies one of Alba. When i overlaping at the T1 there was little hole between two junior cars but i choose overtaking totally wrong and made contact. God bless for this guy driving skill which survived my crash into him! Sorry my bad... Great race, great fun, but i had big problem at the half of my second stint, my FF was gone and i dont know what happened. When i was braking, steering wheel FF turn strong left. Left turns was like i driving without FF, right turns i was like Schwarzenegger. Every braking was nightmare. I called my team mate Marek to change. When i stopped at the pits didnt change drivers... Ok one more lap...but i was speeding in pits...drivethrough....second attempt...speeding...third attempt....success. Sorry guys. | |

| It's hard to sum up 5 hours of racing in few lines, but if needed to do it in one word, that would be FUN Ludo, Gianluca and me are not the quickest drivers by any means, nor did we pick a good car, so our plan was to hang around and fish for points while cruising at our own pace. The plan worked well, the driver swaps also did, and besides the unavoidable occasional shunt that was repaired in the pits, we made it to the end with the CK5 and the Alba, this last one in podium position (Albeit last in the whole field ) Later in the chat with Ricardo I discovered that we had the wrong config in the CK5 (Monza instead of Silverstone), which explained why the car would understeer like a stubborn pig NIght driving was good either when having a car behind me, or driving solo - but the problem was when the cars were far behind and started closing in or leaving me behind. The light levels changed a lot, and my own car projected a shadow and distorted the lighting in front, so I missed braking and turn entry points while letting other cars by. The CK5 is very unforgiving in that regard, with so much understeer there is not a lot you can do to correct a later turn entry. The lapping cars in general behaved well and were patient, except some misunderstanding, but no real harm done. Congrats to all who took part, and special congrats to all who finished and survived the carnage. | |

Great event nontheless! How low? I was doing 1.5 to 1.7 laps with my Lancia, I was also thinking of having a shot at that title before my rF just stopped working.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause? About 1,25-1,35. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Very well done, Pascal and Raul! Congratulations, build on this.

| Finaly that was nice experience to drive such a race. I always like the "multicrew" racing as the feeling of resposibility of the team makes it speacial.
Thenk you HSO for organising sucha a nice event, I hope there will be more of these!! :-)
I am also very happy that we finished as for me and also Marek it was kind of comeback after few year without simracing.

A 24 hour race would really be last man standing. And I don't think many people fancy it in C2's with fragile brake discs.
We've got no brake issue on the Alba...perhaps because we were slow If there's another endurance event count me in as I'm huge fan of that kind of race. That was a fantastic race As for the race. Well two cars at start...two cars at checkered. We've done the job. Alberto gave us two superbs sets making the car very easy to handle . I've done only one stint with the CK5. The start was rather strange. I wasn't able to overtake the C Junior as easily as I think. Then it took sometimes to get into the race and push a bit the car. For about 20 minutes I was underdriving. Then I wake up. I catch the Rondeau then the Nimrod. I had fun time in a fight against that last car drove then by Sven. It was a real close quarter battle. He got the topspeed but the Porsche was more handly. I tried to push him as hard I could without doing anything stupid. He finally made a mistake and I was going to finish quietly my stint. But I've forget to disable an updater. So I got two blacks screens. Hopefully the car just got scratches. More fear than harm but a great lose of time in both event. Contrary to Alberto I haven't found the Porsche so understerring. But I've got some late issue with tyres. They degrades very quickly and the car became very slippery by the end of my stint. Then it was Alba's time. I've to do a double stint with that car. Again the setup was great and the car a delight to drive. Lack a bit of top speed though and I can't match against the De Cadenet and the URD in the straight. Got an issue from the start. I've got a light signal in the middle of my screen helping me for the green lights on start and to know if I'm close to the pits speed limit. It appears at start and when I'm entering pits. The rest of time it disappears. But, for a reason, it has been left stuck all the race. Not really funny as it masked a lot of things on the tracks. Nonetheless I managed to race with that inconvenient. The night falling the car became a bit trickier. The tyres were much too cool and the car lacks a bit of grip. I'm also very unconfortable at night. But this time I managed to keep the car on the track AND being consistent with it. At the end of my last stint I was battling with Alberto on the CK5. We both managed to nearly crashed our car On final lot of fun, no driving mistakes and two cars out of two on the checkered. Nothing else to hope for. Alberto, Gianluca and I did the job well.

Very well done, Pascal and Raul! Congratulations, build on this. Wow, that's cool. TBH, I was gutted when the sole Sauber retired Matt said he could rach similiar figures with his driving style, and with me being over 30s ahead of Jan, I was still rather confident to be best of the rest But I want to avoid more "rFactor stopped working" messages. I've been mostly okay on Win 7, but with switching to Win 10, I get these issues. And I terribly hate retiring through the game crashing or disconnecting from the server

| I'm not sure what to recommend David as I'm on windows 7. I'm sure there are some members here that use windows 10 and rfactor.
The only advise I can offer is make sure everything is installed directly into C:, but I'm sure I remember you saying you had already done this.

| I could help David, I run rFactor on Windows 10. First that comes into my mind, apply 4 gb patch to your rFactor.exe. This allows rFactor to use all 4 GB of RAM. Second, I put my rFactor files not in C:\ Program files or x86 but in Documents. This allows for easy editing files because in Program files, files tend to be locked or requires the annoying "admin permission". Third, put your rFactor.exe compatibility to Windows XP SP3, although I once used Win 7 compatibily without issues, then in properties tick the box "Run as administrator". Hope this helps | |

| "Run as administrator" can solve problems. I was setting up rFactor on a Win 10 laptop just last night, and I was having a really hard time getting it to run. As soon as I tried running rFactor as an administrator, all the problems went away. | |

TBH, even with programs not being in the program files, it often asks me anyway if I want to run/edit this application.

Putting it in Documents folder will be a good start. Asking for do you want to run this program is normal, just click yes. Tell us if problem persist.
