Race Start Procedure
- Cars will be placed on the grid when the drivers click "race" - After the countdown is over, the field will do one formation lap, then re-grid for the standing start.
Behaviour on track
- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

I still have a metal barrier on the inside, all along the way, in a single colour.

Michal, did you overwrite your old install or delete it before downloading this version? I would recommend deleting the track and starting with a fresh download.

hmm , track deleted, installed from newly downloaded one and there is no texture on barrier but the barrier is here when i tryed to go to grass
maybe a bad graphics settings on nvidia controll panel
EDIT: so the texture quality settings in RF was the cause, must be the highest one, one click down and the barrier is lowered , 2 clicks and is gone completely

the only problem left after new MB and CPU and upgrade from WXP to W7 is the spotter Addon, on old system with Audigy2 (now onboard soundcard) is that when the spotter speaks, the engine sound volume is lowered which is little disturbing, settings of spotterconfig is the same as on old system

Same issue as always with Österreichring... 7 laps of practice and I'm allready tired of trying to fix how the car feels when I know it's impossible to make it feel good around this circuit, I've had that same issue every time Österreichring has been on the schedule, most recently the DRM cars...
And unlike around Brands Hatch (which is just as bumpy) the same fix is not a fix but a curse, it makes the car even worse
Oh well, don't expect fireworks from the small McLaren team this time around, it's looking grim.
But I will be around trying to at least survive, surviving should at least prompt a top 15 spot since it's a very attrition heavy circuit.
