After reviewing the replays of the Trenton heats, the admins have made the following decisions:
Pascal Mikula will serve a one-race suspension for multiple driving issues.
Firstly, for displaying an overall lack of spatial awareness. This was exemplified by the following:
- repeatedly hitting cars under yellow because he is looking at the reverse view and not forward
- fading right into the oncoming Richard Wilks, which essentially triggered the Heat 2 pile up on the lap 79 restart
- placing HUD information over his mirrors, which limits his rear visibility
Secondly, Pascal repeatedly violated the single file rule for restarts. This is not acceptable behavior under yellow.
Pascal can serve his one-race suspension in any series he runs in (if it is a Wednesday night CIS event, he must sit out both heats). Driving like this in future races will result in further disciplinary action from the league.
Jan Kowalski receives a warning for chatting during a race session, which is strictly prohibited. A repeat offense will draw further disciplinary action from the league.
