| Even though I'm not running Sunday, I will probably be turning some laps on the server this week. Doing some testing for setup stuff and what-not. Just a heads-up | |

| are you sure, there's no issue with tyre wear ? with hard tyres, a good set and cool driving, I need 2 stops. En 78, Regazzoni, qui n'était pas un enfant de coeur, l'avait faite sans changer de pneus ...

| 3 hours before the race start, I'll be attending a local show. But I think that it should be enough for me to return home and take start, either set a qualifying lap or start at the back. So I think I'll be present. - Vincent Beretta wrote:

En 78, Regazzoni, qui n'était pas un enfant de coeur, l'avait faite sans changer de pneus ... I have run a full test race now. Tires will indeed be a huge area for everyone to consider. I suspect Greg will dominate as he is a master at tire conservation from what I have seen.

Actually he destroys his tires because he drives the cars so hard, but he IS a master of driving on slippery tires, and that makes him be at the top!

i read some thing on the internet that the tcp port wont receive signals during that 3 min stand still for the formation lap i have 2 options , shut down firewall, virus scanner and go out as i usual do and ask admin to send in private messages, /w fra bla bla bla during the 3 min
or go out late, ( can i press escape after the first 15 sec?? ) and wait in pit garage screen for the 3 min pitlock and just before the pit close hit enter and hit the track

| You could roll out just before the pits close and time your recon lap so you arrive at the grid just before the clock runs out. | |

| Virus scanner? What the hell? is that thing running all the time in the background? I have a firewall too, but nothing ever happens. I don't quite understand why you keep disconnecting | |

can i press escape after i done that? The danger in hitting escape during the whole recon process would be getting trapped in the pits after the pits are closed. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

(It did made the difference in 1978) We'll see sunday night what to think about all that stuff.

| Just exit the pits 15 seconds before they close. Don't leave the garage until you need too. | |

| so the thing is i have to press start race before the 15 seconds , as i always do, and then wait for the last min for the pit is closing ( in general those 2 min waiting will kill my connection on the grid) so i hope now it will not in the garage or i ll try one recon lap ) well lets find out then | |
