| 23 laps x ~127 second lap time average= less than 60 minute race.....
Was this the length of the actual race?
A bit short.....wish it were longer...

| That is the correct length James, The race we are doing is from the 1983 DRM series, which was effectively a series of sprint races in these cars. | |

| I will have to ditch the Grid S1 as it only has hard compound tyres and it appears that all of the other cars have soft, medium and hard tyre choices. Can I take the 42 Porsche CK5 Richard Cleare Racing. | |

| For the rest of the C1 cars, the Ford C100 is probably the best. For C2 i would recommend an Alba, but test them and see what you prefer. P.S, The Sauber SHSC6 is the most powerful car which is useful at Hockenheim, but it is a handful of a car to drive. | |

| Yes James but with 2 turbos attached to it, was rumoured to be kicking out around 850 BHP. In comparison, the Porsche 956 was producing around 635 BHP. | |

In comparison, the Porsche 956 was producing around 635 BHP. I had no idea it was turbocharged... I did a historical bit on BMW M1s at Le Mans years ago (before the www had really fleshed out). Sauber made some of the group 5 bodied M1s... I'm 99% confident all the M1s were normally aspirated. Had no idea the Sauber Gr C car had turbos...big news. Thanks Richard...

| They were actually called Sehcar SH-C6(I got that wrong ) which were developed by the Brun team. Basically a modded Sauber SHS-C6. The Sehcar's had no development from Sauber as they had moved onto the C7's The BMW engine that was in the Sehcar, Was a M88/2 which was developed for Group 5 racing. The M88/1 was used in the BMW M1 and was N/A as you said. | |

| And for the same reason David chose the CK5 I'll stick with the 936-only hard tires available on the C100. My race will be the easiest of anyone's, as the 936 has a four speed gearbox. Perhaps when either Jason or Mike have their backs turned I can sneak a 5 speed away from them... | |
