| Because there wan't room for two in the main lane...well, in your case I see you just for a barrier (not Barium) enema after braking in the dirt. I did that so many times in practice!! Changed my entry line because of it.
I musty say the -180% grill tape with no nose setup by Raul at the end was surprisingly good!

Great work on the broadcast was laughing when you called James Knowles the "Headlight Man" NO he didn't!!!!! Headed to watch it straightaway as soonas I get some rum... Well I have my graphics dialed low as I race on an antiquated laptop... I followed David Miller with headlights on unknowingly for an extended period as I had no idea they were on... And yes, I like signalling "Okay you pass HERE" to those behind me.. I am slow, and know when yield to those faster than I.

| Just watched the broadcast.....Ben....really cool of you to do this on a Sunday evening.. And to be totally honest...while the diference between the headlights being off/on in the video is striking... from the driver's seat it was barely discernable.... Sincerely, "Roi de la 'headlights'" | |

http://historicsimracing.org/en/resultatscourse/1130 A fun event . I qualified about where I thought that I would 10th with the group of non 956 & LC2s. A decent start to the race and got through the Ostkurve chicane ok (I think that I was runnning 7th or 8th) and then a big slide coming out the final turn let Philippe Henrique and Claudio Augusto through, I was hoping to catch back up to them as they battled for position but then on lap3 approaching the Ostkurve chicane there was a black Sauber across the track leaving me nowhere to go but into the side of the Sauber in the screenshots you can see that I am committed to turning in as the accident in front happens. I limped back to the pits (hopefully not getting in anyones way) and the race was over. I then watched a bit of the race, there was a good battle at the front which ended up going Richards way. Congrats Richard , Mike, Dana and Dave Miller . Ben

| Does anyone else here use a Logitech DFGT?
I think that I am not getting any engine braking at all, and I think it is due to the fact I'm not using a H pattern shifter, or have something not selceted correctly in my PLR file...
Any suggestions?

Im using DFGT, and Im getting engine braking, but depending on the degree of engine brake map. Thanks for the input, Raul. Let me go back and have another look at my setup (which Richard kindly provided). Maybe I was downshifting way too late in braking for nany effect....

Maybe I was downshifting way too late in braking for nany effect.... well, you should definetly try with various cars, maybe even mods, to see if there is a wheel problem, but if "auto cluthc" is on, and if your DFGT than it is, I see no room for that as an option!

| Hi ,during Qualifying I had a problem with rFactor locking up showing me a runtime error , then I remembered the 4gb patch, run that and everything was fine. The race was good but a couple of small mistakes sore me loose contact with the front pack. It was pretty lonely after that, finishing 5th.
Well done to the Poduim.
