| Only thing I can suggest is check the install again Jonaton. Must be something on your end as no one else is reporting the issue. | |

| Problem solved after a bit of researching the deep dark corners of the Internet..... R2P.....
The track isn't optimized for low-graphic so when I turned up the texture detail, that fixed the issue. I might have another issue instead but I'll know after I've done some running, if so I'll update you with my absence (lag/stuttering related due to the graphics settings needed to run the track at all). | |

| It seems there's an issue with the standings (not the points themselves), the points from this race should be on race #8, as there are 4 races left. | |

| So it should, will correct in the morning. I thought #8 was still the N/C race at Dijon, but I guess Frank edited it already. Sorry guys, not a good night for me! | |

| I didn't have time for practice, so my pace was far from the top runners. Race1 Had a great start, than slowly went down on the ladder. Than I made a stupid mistake at the end of the back straight. I wanted to shift down from 5th to 4th, but I pulled the stick to 2nd gear. INSTANT LOCK UP ...spun out to the sand. Joined to 10th place. Took back a few spots and finished 8th or 7th. Race2 Did a fantastic start, jumped up to the 1st spot from 7th or 8th place. Than I tried to defend the inside line from Jonatan. I had to slow down, because I was on the inside line...didn't want to squeez anyone on the outside. So I started to brake a bit earlier. Maybe Jonatan not expected this from me. He hit me and I spun out...not able to save it. After the 1st race, I knew that my pace was not enough to hold back the whole field...but bad things happen, so no worries. Joined back last place. Followed Richard and Jose. Jose was too fast for me....he disappeared after two laps. I managed to pass Richard, it was a nice battle. Than he tapped me at the first chicane, I spun out and hit the wall. Got a puncture. In my head, I turned off race mode and switched on to fun mode. Went for a stop to change the front tires, than came back to the track, where Jonatan waited for me. Nice, time for some tandem drift Not took too much points, but I had a great time with you guys. So I'm satisfied with the last night action. Grats to JP....man, you're a robot. Win most of the races without any mistake. Respect | |

@Matthias, for the bump, in the first race, there wasn't problem. I didn't feel the hurt. I saw you in my mirror. And to the end of the back straight, you weren't here. I saw your car jump on the track before, maybe a little lag. | |

| Well... Considering I had no practice on that specific layout of the circuit prior to the event (me not liking to practice online unless I'm working on a setup with a friend/teammate) and then the subsequent trouble with getting the track to run in the first place, I was a bit "revved up" coming into it all Qualifying went really well, the track suited the Mustang over a single lap pretty well, there were just a few too many long corners in the last sector for it to be perfect but a very nice time anyway Race1 and I got off to a decent start. Feels like I had a bit more in it at the start but still managed to outdrag everyone going into T1 which was crucial for me to even have a chance at a good position in the race. Managed to stay ahead in the first lap but then JP was free of everyone else and started to try to preassure me. Even though I didn't feel pressured as such I still had to drive defensively in those really curvy spots but JP got passed me a couple of times and in the end he managed to pull a small gap before the last two corners where I then had a bit of help from Jan (no worries about the touch mate, you missjudged my mid-corner speed, I've done that myself before, it's easily done), I was hoping to be given the position back but as it was such a touch and go incident on the replay, no anger on my side. Rejoined the track in the middle of a fight for 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Sorry for the less than decent rejoin Peter, I checked my mirror and thought the track was clear for a second until I heard your toy in my ears Pulled in between Peter and Jose and did my best to stay ahead of Peter in the first sector to then go ahead and pull past Jose and Maté down the back straight. I honestly thought I had then cleared enough to take my usual line through the following 2 corners but suddenly a wild, slightly fishtailing Mercedes appeared in from of me in the form of Jose who must have his car through the fast right hander and then braked very late into the next right hander. Did my best to hook onto his car which I could do after a small battle with Maté before his misstake at the end of the back straight. The rest of the race was pretty much a transportation of a Ocean Liner, I needed the Atlantic, and at times the Pacific Ocean, to turn the car in the long right hander that tightens Jan sadly has his off after him and Jose had had a tight hard battle for 2nd position so I could grab a 3rd place, sort of undeserved yet deserved 2nd Race and I had a much worse start but could still drag past a few of the cars but then I missjudged the situation as I thought me and Maté, at least Maté, was clear of traffic so I only slowed down to be able to make the corner and still leave a bit of space on the outside but Maté wanted to leave even more space so I gave him a touch which then turned into a stacking effect with saw him, me and Jose, maybe more besides, off the track, I'm terribly sorry guys I nudged the wall and got a puncture so I pitted, got it fixed, and then tried to catch up to those ahead but when I saw Maté in the pits I decided that I'd wait and just have a bit of fun as I realized he probably was in the same boat as me damage whise. So for the rest of the race we drifted around the track and switched positions while trying to keep out of the way of those lapping us (sorry to anyone held up by us, we did our best to get out of the way ) So overall a good event considering I was able to get a podium but I feel as if I could have gotten even more had I had the right track right away and just gotten more track time in. But anyway, thank you to everyone PS: Richard, honoring Kieth on the 20th year of his passing (your profile picture)? If so, you have my deepest respect for also thinking him one of the best TC drivers of his generation | |
