1973 Trentonian Split 300 [March 29th]

Race 1 went how i expected it, blew the engine (making a habit out of it ) but i came up into 5th place! (i have no idea how) and was 6th when a safety car came.... and i somehow blew the engine when slowing down, still not sure how

i dont know to make my stop and go !!!
and finaly i am DQ

I'd strongly suggest if we are doing a heat 2 to shorten it to whatever distance we can cover with a full tank

J'essaie trois fois de suite de purger mon stop an go et à chaque fois, juste avant que je m'arrête : yellow flag !
La 4 ème fois, je bloque mes roues et casse mon aileron av dans la caisse de devant qui a abandonné depuis longtemps , mais qui n'a pas quitté. Et pour finir, je casse mon moulin en passant la première !

Vaut mieux que j'aille voir l'Indy Car à la télé !

Jean-Louis : c'est simple : tu t'arrêtes juste à ton emplacement (enfin, tu essaies !) sans demander préalablement un pit-stop et c'est tout.

Made a mess of heat 1.
The pit box thing is a surprise. We'll have to look into that.
Another surprise was the penalties for passing before the line. That was not supposed to happen.
I strongly suggest that everyone hold position until they are past the S/F line on restarts.
Standing by for heat 2; grid order will be determined by the finish order of heat 1.

My internet died just after race 1. Good tinning though

well race 2.... geuss what?! Blew the engine, was going well again and then Pace car and when trying to cathch up, i shift up because i was hitting 9000 revs and bam! again same spot same situation

my internet took a dump about 1 min before the 2nd race was to start. still going up and down now, horrible timing. anyway thanks for all the effort to put this on, was great fun when we were racing.

What a stupid, stupid move in race 2 I was too eager to get past Mick, went low and tangled with Peter and went arse first into the wall

Not a race to enter history exactly, track is terribly bugged regarding pits and racing order. At race 2 was told to go behind Dylan just after I entered the track, no idea why the game suddenly put me there but I had to run as hell under constant warning messages. Arrived at T1 too fast with cold tires and glanced the wall. Entered pits and impossible to repair again.

Sad because I saw later some great racing once the field cleared, but also sad tos ee some people like Alan doing a good steady race and suffering the bug unable to refuel.

Wish I could have raced Peter right to the flag, but I'll take P2

Yes. This was unfortunate.

Tight into 1 loose out of 2. What a horrendously scary setup. At least it was better than what I made in heat 1 which was horrible tight into 1 and backwards out of 2

With some practice I could have made my car as fast as I am in a Parnelli here. Oh well, 15 min of practice is never enough for me
