| Made a real mess of qualifying and started last .. In the Race I had an awesome start and then got a little bit excited on the 1st long right hand bend spun off the track and ended up last again .. Was having some really nice laps with Jason ,Philippe and Mick . Then it seemed it was other peoples turn to have problems especially at the end of the long straight , I gained quite a few places as other people made mistakes but after 5 laps or so caught up with Chris and all i can say is i look forward to are next race we had a great Battle all the way until the Chequered flag .. Yes we touched a few times but we where fighting hard so there where a few little taps nothing serious . Bring on the next one Cheers Chris Only 17th place but who cars when your having this much fun .. WD JP congrats all finishers

| Had a great Race again (and a bad start, as expected) Nice fights with a little luck at the end. I think there is a small mistake in the "Constructeurs" standings, Ford has to gain 11 points (5.0 Ford Mustang at P7 with Jonatan Acerclinth) instead of 7 points, done by me. Next race will be a "just survive" race for me, way to fast for the Escort.... | |

| I was too cautious on my qualy lap, because I didn't want to cut or do any mistakes. Got the 5th spot.
My start was quite good, managed to pass Richard and Roy. Than I went too deep in T2 and Richard took back the 3rd place. Roy also took back his position at the end of the long straight. On the 2nd lap I passed him with the same move. Few laps later, Richard made a mistake in the last corner, pushed too hard and spun on the exit. I was 3rd again.
Kevin and JP had a race long battle. JP drove calmly and Kevin took the corners a bit agressively. I think he was more on his limits, than JP. It took a few laps for me to catch them. I followed them from a safe distance and waited for a good opportunity. Kevin made a few mistakes and I tried to pass him but he fought too dangerously (imo). Squeezed me out two times. I didn't want to risk my podium finish with a crash, so I let him go in these situations.
Later, he lost control under braking and spun off. This was the opportunity and the safest way for me to pass him.
I managed to catch JP, but his pace was really good, so I didn't have a chance to attack him. I tried it twice but both moves were too optimistic. Finished 2nd.
I went for the win, but it was never there for me. All in all this was a nice race for me, had a few battles and finished 2nd again.
Thanks HSO for the organisation and thank you Roy for the fair battle! Congrats to JP for the win!
See you guys on the next race.

| Allow me to first put the Mustang in words that most should be able to describe... When Americans come together to make a car and you look at the horsepower, you'll grin from ear to ear. When Americans come together to make a car and you look at the handling, run away... Run AWAY for your LIFE! Nah, to be honest, the Mustang ain't that bad when you have it sorted but it can be lairy if you aren't used to how it drives, I had a few touch and go moments at T2-3 when trying to apply the throttle, but I probably was one of those having the most fun when it comes to just driving the car Qualifying: In Qually I surprised myself with a mid 49 lap which put me just outside the top 10. Not quite happy with the position on the grid but I'm very happy with the laptime in of itself Race: Decided to run with Hards on the Front and Very Hards on the Rear which was a good choice, could possibly have gone Very Hards all around considering the last couple of laps and the cars' unhappiness to turn in But anyway, had a resonable start and got a position or 2 going into Turn1. Then, sadly, I was on the very inside of the track and broke just a bit too late while the Alfa ahead of me sadly came across slightly too much leading to contact which saw me on the grass causing me to arrive too quickly and giving someone up ahead a bump at the hairpin. I'm sorry to everyone involved in that caffuffle, but hopefully no-one was hurt to badly After this I found myself loosing a bit of time to Yves and Jan with friends up ahead while being able to gap, sorry can't remember who it was, the cars behind and was in no-mans land for a while but then, just like I had hoped, I started to get closer and closer to Yves who was battling with Jan as well as Richard after an incident. Soon found myself at the back of the group and just tried to stay consistent and stay on track to try and take advantage if something were to happen up ahead and indeed it did. While me and Yves were battling while Jan and Richard had pulled ahead Richard soon came back after running wide down at T10 (the wide hairpin left with a curved braking zone) which saw both me and Yves getting past but soon he managed to pass me after I tried an overambitious pass on Yves at T12-13-14 complex. I then settled in behind them again and after a few laps I found myself ahead of both, I think Richard made another misstake at T10 while I was able to finally outdrag Yves down to the hairpin after I managed to get a good exit coming through T3. By now my tires were starting to feel the strain and Richard as well as Yves and Matthias who had caught up, applied the preassure which showed, the rear end of the Mustang was wiggling more than a Rabbits Nose and getting very slidey coming through and off T3. I did what I could to defend and while I was a bit aggressive at times (sorry for 2 times at T10 Richard) the racing was fair and fun In the end I managed to hold the whole group off and to my amazement crossed the line 7th, not something I thought I'd be able to achieve, I thought I might had been in with a chance at a top10 finish, but getting 7th I'm very very happy with as well as the battles throughout most of the race Thank you very much to Richard, Yves, Matthias and anyone else I might have forgotten to mention for the battles, was a lot of good fun this round just like the last one | |

| That was a great race but I am slow in these cars. I find the Beemer a bit of a boat or maybe I just cannot drive it, but if an Alfa goes open I would love to swap if thats at all possible.
Also guys, I need some help - I cannot hear my tyres at all, only my engine. I have fiddled with the settings in my PLR file but it has not made any change. And I have added the soundpack and the Addon, so am stumped.
At least I was able to have a race long fight with Carl which made it interesting, Alfa against BMW. I have to apologise to Carl who I believe I overtook once whilst hitting you - really sorry, not the way I like to get a position, but I just find that I am not dialled into the car so was not even sure if I had touched you or hit you hard or did not touch at all, otherwise I would have slowed and given you the position back.
I went with Hards eventually I think but maybe I should have gone with extra hards as towards the end I was battling the big car the entire time. Carl consistently applied pressure and forced me into errors but fortunately the power of the Beemer seemed to be able to keep him at bay.
Anyway, thanks for hosting guys and looking forward to the next one.

It's an old bug in TCL, I think I fixed it for the M5 but we usually will not touch the existing cars. Make a backup copy of the 635.SFX file in your TCL folder, then copy and rename the M5.Sfx to 635.sfx and see if you can now hear the tires

| Well i am using my own sounds for the 635csi and M5, so i actually don't know if i replicated that bug on my files or not... i must check, i know some cars didn't have the backfire either About the race, well the qualifying was actually pretty good, i made my best lap ever when it counted, and started in the top 10, but then i lost out on some colisions in the first lap, and made an error trying to catch, so my final position was the best i could do. I was stuck behind Ben for too long, and when i managed to pass him, my tires were already not so good, and i was too far away from the next group, but it was a great duel | |

| Well, for my career was a little complicated, since I made a mistake in the setup to last minute , yet at moments in the career pass me very well, first trying to overcome Roy, that we had a great and clean battle and then trying to contain Jan, which then observe that came by cutting all the corners . At the end a 5th place not bad and not could aspire to much more with the mistake that I made in the setup See you at the next and I hope to be able to give more war greetings | |
