Race Start Procedure

Behaviour on track

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

Terrible race for me topped off by hitting Jean Marie after he spun. Sorry Jean Marie, I slowed and guessed wrong about where you were. Smoke was blinding.

Fun start but the setup I ran was too loose for me. Fast but loose = bad day for Mike.   

Retired a few laps after that, car pulled hard right. Finally lost it and hit the wall. It was totally undriveable after that so retired.

Really satisfying run    Another top 5 and 2 points.  Great challenge, this track. Lotsa bumps  

Started a bit slow and dropped to 5th.  Hadn't had much seat time with a full tank and hard tires, and that showed early on.  Sergio and I had a minor collision on lap 2, but we both continued no worse for wear Once I settled into a rhythm, it became a back and forth battle between myself and Philippe. I was able to keep him at bay for a while thanks to lapping cars arriving at convenient locations.  But one small error let him slip by. I almost had the position back at the hairpin, but got sideways and gave it back again   From there on, I drove like a man possessed trying to keep him in sight. Was ready to settle for 6th when he overshot turn 1, and I was back up to 5th.  Sorry to see that unfortunate collision between Mike and Jean-Marie.  Looked pretty frustrating on the replay   

Love this mod!  Hope we can use it again soon in an open or another series.  Thank you HSO and congrats to Greg!

Bien qualifié 2è, je suis surpris que Philippe n'améliore pas. Je le suis aux essais en train d'essayer d'améliorer jusqu'à la dernière minute en vain, du coup je ne suis pas plus surpris que ça qu'il tente un dépassement là où c'est pas évident (dans le second droite) et dès le premier tour. Il disparait en spin et je me retrouve avec 15" d'avance sur lui à environ 30 tours de la fin. Je sais qu'il ne pourra pas me remonter si je ne fais pas de faute. Je n'ai qu'à assurer en contrôlant sa remontée. Quand j'assure, les chronos sont bons, mais je me déconcentre et en tentant de rattaquer, je suis plus lent. Je lâche également du temps en assurant derrière les retardataires. Du coup, il finit à 7". Contrat rempli: je ne suis pas parti au tas, alors que j'avais embarqué 60 tours d'essence, au lieu de 60 litres... 79 litres, on avait de quoi continuer...
Merci pour ce cadeau final Philippe et merci aux organisateurs, même si l'affluence a été très faible en fin de saison.
