| 1987 200 Meilen von Nürnberg=> DOWNLOAD TRACK <= => HOTLAPS <= For this Open we will use the HSO 1987 Group C mod for rFactor. Event ScheduleSunday March 9th (all times given are CET) : 19:20 - Qualifying 20:50 - Drivers’ briefing and reconnaissance laps 21:00 – Heat 1 Start (77 laps) 22:00 – Heat 2 Start (77 laps) The starting grid for the second heat will be based on the results of the first one. Drivers having retired in the first heat are allowed to start in the second one. Overall standings will be based on aggregate time of the two heats, however only drivers having completed 70% of the distance covered by the winner will be classified. Server IP : 91.121.135.76:34200 Server Password : hso87A training server will be running 24/7 (same password). Car selection is free, however faster drivers and newcomers whose overall simracing level is unknown will not be allowed to drive the Jaguar and the Sauber. Start Procedure :Race Start Procedure Both heats will feature a rolling start given manually by the admins. Once everybody joined his slot on the grid after the completion of his reconnaissance lap(s), the green lights giving the start will be shown. This is not the start of the race, but the start of the formation lap, which drivers will cover at low speed, single filed. Do not overtake, stay packed, no more than 2 or 3 car lengths between each car. After the last turn, the cars will keep rolling at reduced speed and will put themselves back in their original grid positions : When the leading car will be in sight of the start/finish line, an admin will give the real start of the race by typing "GREEN FLAG" in the chat. However, should the grid formation be judged not satisfactory by the admins, the flying start might be delayed by a further lap. Behaviour on track- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

| Not sure if it is the server or me but the car is not auto clutching properly. Power stays on at 1000 rpm when braking. Very odd.
Oh I see, auto clutch is nolonger allowed on servers. Car is just taking off on me unless I use clutch and clutch must be used when braking or car powers through. At least it is like this for me.
Afraid I do not wish to relearn the game. | |

| Expanding on Mike's post - I am also not a huge fan of the auto-clutch ban. I have to say that, provided that 1st gear is short enough to make a getaway, I notice next to no difference when accelerating. Under braking, however, the characteristics of the cars are completely transformed. In the DTM this is manageable with a decent ability to blip the throttle but it still feels very different. I can imagine that the problems are much worse in these much more powerful cars. Now, we'd best get back on-topic... | |
