Are there any cars available that are more competitive than my current 1.6 Chevron-Cosworth B35 that I may change to. I didn't do any research prior to joining this series, but I did do back to back tests, and the car I chose yielded the best times at a certain track, though at the time, I didn't fully understand how to drive these cars, and it was at a track I was learning, so the times weren't very represented.

The #25 or the #67 would be a little bit faster   

Thanks Martin. Could I change to the #67 car please? (I have just tested it, and manage to scrape a couple off tenths after 10laps, but it did seem to handle better than the Marcel Talbot, which is odd (mp my imagination)

I did not know there was a big difference. Have not driven yet. If the 25 is better than the 88 would you swap me over please?

Hi, fellas...

Just recently signed on.  I'm quite interested in the SA Formula Atlantic series.  I downloaded the HSO skin pack for the MOD but on installation, it's clear that something is wrong.  There was no readme included with the download so I just pumped the files into the main Gamedata directory as indicated.  If I try to run a replay of a previous HSO race, every car shows as a yellow Chevron, #10.  What did I do wrong?

Hi, Richard.  Actually, I did just that initially but after reading your response...TY, BTW..., I went back and did it again.  Still no success.  In downloading just this morning the Aldo and Roy H tracks plus the replays of the races at each, I still see nothing but a yellow Chevron, #10 as everyone's car.

In checking my directories, I note that the original vehicle folder(FA_1976)is still there and seemingly intact.  However, there is a new folder, 'HSO-FAtlantic1976' with sub-directories of some of the marques.  Should this be a standalone folder?  Should it have over-written some files in the 'FA_1976' folder?  In-game, from the 'Player' menu page, I've tried to arrow over from the default FAtl 1976 series ident hoping to see the HSO variant but all I get from that is an instant CTD.  Most confusing and frustrating.

I may have the chance to enter the season finale today at Killarney.  If I join and find mis-matches or all cars looking identical to that Chevron, I'll just shut down.  Is there a password to the server?

I've just checked the lead page for the series and note that there is a reference to an HSO FAtl Mod as well as the skin pack.  That may be my troubles.  I've been using the standard FAtl offering.

Let me download and install the HSO mod variant and I'll report back shortly on the findings.

Could well turn out to be a classic case of 'my bad'.

That's me shooting myself in the foot.  With a fresh rF install, I've extracted the HSO Formula Atlantic mod update and the skins files and everything looks ducky now.  All cars display different makes and liveries in replays of past races.  They look super!  

I'm still hoping to squeeze in today's finale.
