Round 16 - Australian Grand Prix [Nov 24]

Hi Vondutch, First of all you will need to change your profile name to your real name (In the rules   ) Make sure your rfactor profile is under your real name also.

Regarding the Footwork, Matt Requested it a short while ago in the available cars section, So that car may be taken, But i imagine you'll be allowed one of the other free cars.

Im sure you'll get a response for definate tomorrow off of the series organiser.

The server is only set up for qualifying, So no practice and that means we only get 12 laps to run, Anyone awake at this un-holy hour who can sort it for us!    

Not a bad qual for me. Under performed for the car I have but I'll live with it. Tried to push too hard after my 1st qual run and lost it 3 times. Went back to my safe setup and ran a good lap with it which was comperable to my best practice laps.

GLA tomorrow.

Wondering what is still free. After looking at the qualify results looks like a couple of the cars listed as free in the first post are claimed. Could someone clarify what's available still?

I'm currently doubting the Brabham and Modena drivers. Will they start?

Tentatively I'll go with the #16 Leyton House CG911. Thanks.

Yeah, after the first post...

- Anderson moved from Fondmetal to take the free Larrousse
- Pascal moved from Larrousse to the #26 Ligier (but I haven't seen sign of him on the server)
- Oscar came in and took the other Larrousse
- The #4 Tyrrell became free at last-minute, so I vacated the #25 Ligier to take up that opportunity
- No sign from Brabham or Modena drivers so far.
- #28 Ferrari is also free, but pretty ambitious for a rookie!
- Mark Stanton and Matt Richards have been seen on the server in Coloni and Footwork machinery respectively

So the free cars are...
#10 Footwork (?)
#14 Fondmetal
#18 AGS
#25 Ligier
#28 Ferrari
#31 Coloni (?)

With #26 Ligier, both Brabhams and both Modenas possibly free too.

Hope that clears things up for you

(Oh, and Oscar, for goodness sake, please don't race that Ferrari - you're too good for it!! )

I will be racing as Chris Hamilton. I screwed up and used my nickname when I registered.  Looks like everyone here uses their real names.

EDIT: Changed my profile name to real name. Also realize that the Footwork has been claimed. Sorry.

As far as I'm aware there's an AGS and a Coloni free, as well as my Fondmetal from last race. (E: Matthew's post sums it up better in retrospect.) They aren't exactly good bet I guess better than nothing

But while I'm at it: I would liked the Brabham because V12 but I suppose that can't and won't happen now...

No you wouldnt!!!!   Anyone will tell you who has driven it, Its bloody awful! you thought the Tyrrell was on edge! Nothing compared to the Brabham!  

I think Anders is hoping to join today but from the back. He was on the server last Wednesday with me practicing his race setup

Great 1st lap. You hit me on the left rear at the start then shift all the way left and panic break in front of one of the best drivers and he nails you and the resulting chaos sweeps me and others off the track. I lost my RF wheel. Race over. Lovely.   


Really loved this series Gui. My favorite so far even though I got taken out twice on lap 1 by others twice recently. Thank you for running it.
