Formula Atlantic South Africa

In order to properly represent the South African series, you will need additional models.  Having the Lola stand in for the Modus and others is, in my opinion, not a good idea.  If I were you I would touch base with David Sabre on this; he is the original author of the 76 Atlantic mod.  At least get his formal permission to modify it for a South African series.

Several problems:
I do not know what the original mod cars
should the agreement David Sabre and modders of HSO
I do not know how the 3DO and physics, or add the car mod
All that ask a lot of time, I'm not sure it is justified
Especially if we want to be thorough, should other changes (eg Ralt1 Charlton was not the usual aileron, Wheatcroft Nieman had the nose of March, the chevron Y Domingo no back cover etc. ...)

That's why I thought to use Lola is not used the car most similar.

I would offer to help with modeling, but I am currently focused on the 1973 Indy mod.  Ideally, I shouldn't be taking on other modeling work until it is done.  Do you know anyone else who has modeling capability?

Its a interesting idea to expand the number of 1976 FA cars. From what I can tell the Palliser did not race much, I think that it would be better to have a March 74B where the March 75B could be used as a base with a different cockpit surround. Also a Chevron B29 is not very different to a Chevron B34 (IIRC), a Chevron B25 would also be nice. There were probably some old Brabhams around aswell.
The Modus and Wheatcroft would have to be new body models, depending on free time, work on other mods etc, these two models would take 2 - 3 months to make. I guess that you could run a series with the mod now and then again if new models are added.
I think that adding new models depends on how much interest there is in the sim racing community as a whole.

We have 18 pilots and 23 cars ( 1976 14 pilots and skins ; 1977 13 pilots and 14 skins + Alan Domingo's car for  Yunus )
FA races in South Africa met some drivers, so it is sufficient
pending a possible update of the MOD FA76 with more cars (that add Modus and Wheatcroft ... etc)

I'm just saying that for the moment we have 17 pilots with their cars (plus a 2nd car for Klomfass) which is sufficient for this championship, in 1976&77 the average was 11 cars per race . (max 15 at Rand Winter Trophy 76 , Kyalami )
