| Hi all, Been trying now for 2 days to get the XD plugin for rfactor to work (Carl recommended it ) Installed to the correct location, It XD file create's after i start the game, But while in game i cannot see it. So on Carl's reccomendation i tried Rfactor Lite and installed it there, and again no joy. So i was wondering if any of you guys had any tips, or maybe even another plugin like this that will show engine/brake wear etc. Thanks | |

| There seem to be several versions of that plugin around, and some won't work. I had exactly that same problem with the standalone one, but downloaded the one that comes with the map-plug-in and it worked flawlessly. Search for it, and if you can't find it give me a shout and I'll upload it for you this evening (I'm not at home right now)
EDIT: Also try first hitting the key that enables/disables it ---> By default it's the one to the left of the "1" on the keyboard, left side (Not the numpad but the regular part where letters are located), i.e. the upper-left one on the first row, just below "ESC" key.

I tried hitting that key and again no joy, I did find one that uses a map plug in by fazerfox, And the map pluging part loads up, I get a map on screen and a little lap box but nothing else :smil20:And again it creates the XD file after i've played the game. So if that isn't the one your talking about i'll gladly try yours cause i cant find anymore! Thanks

| In the XD.ini, I see that. Maybe it can help you :
Key to switch on/off ; Possible keyboard layouts: ; For DE: http://www.vitumo.de/files/XD/keyStroke.de.txt ; For EN: http://www.vitumo.de/files/XD/keyStroke.en.txt ; Default: 220 = Circumflex Symbol (Next to the '1' key on main-field) ; For English Keyboard layout please insert 192 here (the '`' key), or the key is mapped to the backslash-key ToggleKey=220
For me it's the key " * " | |

For me it's the key " * " I had the same problem but gave up and use GID. I just couldn't understand the above lines. "Insert 192 here" - Where? After Default or ToggleKey? Why isn't it a bit more precise?
