I dont mind it, But i would prefer something with the Historic GT mod again, I'd love to do an open of the Targa Florio! Even though i'd probably crash! lol!

But i think this season has already been all planned out by the admin, And i see Carl is bouncing about with excitement about what might be next! :D

Last time the admins listened to a suggestion like this, I believe it was for the DRM championship. I'm pretty sure that after that championship, they stopped listening to suggestions :D :aie:

I've heard you and other admins comment this in other occasions, -Frank specifically said there was something very wrong with the lateral grip of the cars- but I have never seen a more detailed indication of what is wrong. So just out of curiosity, what do you guys feel wrong in the physics? How the grips builds up, how it lets go, the feedback ...? Maybe it's because my wheel has no FF, but I don't feel anything "terribly" wrong in this mod, even if I don't like some things suggestion for a new League with 1970WSCV1.0 321163

I think your judgment is a little hard, with this championship. Martin and Philippe would be probably ok with me. There was 27 cars for the first round, and 21 for the last. The only negative thing was the presence of Carlorenzo, alone in the class IV. There was nice battle. But maybe, your position of 2nd in the standings disturbs your judgement. :D

It wasn't my judgement, it's something I've heard somewhere... Plus the Group 5 cars were really bad.
And I don't feel bad having finished 2nd in a championship I started on round 4, if that's what you mean drunken

There are better 2nd places than others. I don't mind finishing 2nd in Caterham or DRM with equal cars, but it's a little more of a problem in a championship where the champion is in a sunday drive with a car vastly superior to others, where your best accomplishment is being able to pick that vastly superior car.

Regarding the DRM, I think it had its good and bad things.

On the positive side:

1. Racing two classes allowed more podium slots which is always a great motivation. We also see that with the TCL championships, especially this year where there are 3 classes and 9 podium slots drunken

2. In G4 we had some great fun in several races, thxs to most people being on the same car (The M1)

On the negative ones:

1. The physics of the mod, be it G5 or G4 cars were bad.

2. Tracks, some of which were boring or plagued with bugs (Nordschleife 70)

3. Carlorenzo's unmeritory sweep in the G4 class.

The previous year, the DRM opens had lots of success here and many people wanted the series to happen.

On retrospective, and after the full schedule, the mod in the current status is tolerable for one-off opens but probably not for a full, realistic, championship.

I too don't like the mod that much, the cars feel very much like boats instead of racing cars

In the 6 hours of Watkins Glen, I drove the Ferrari 512 (the 333 doesn't count :aie: ) and god, it felt awful.... Never had a clue of what I was doing
