Going back to the previous question, both the Brabham and Fittipaldi families technically have another member who did both F1 and Indy/CART, Mike Thackwell's sister is married to David Brabham and Max Papis is married to Emerson Fittipaldi's daughter.

Can you name all the drivers who have done both the following?

-At least one podium finish in F1 from 1996 onwards
-At least one podium finish in either Indy car/CART from 1996 onwards.

Villeneuve and Montoya for sure, can't think right now of more

Not Villeneuve as it was in 1995. Barrichello might be eligible, but I doubt he got a podium in IndyCar. Bourdais, who missed a F1 podium by a lap, is another one who came close to achieve this, but I can't think of anyone else either.

Did Sato ever get an F1 podium? He had a win in IndyCar last year iirc. And Glock had a ChampCar podium too.

Between 2 crashes, Sato managed to get a F1 podium indeed.

So far you've got 3 of the 4, Montoya,Glock and Sato.

Thought for a second it could have been Tiago Monteiro with his US Grand Prix podium with Jordan, but alas only a best finish of 6th in CART

Looking again I worded it inexactly, but the story is interesting anyway: Our guy retired his car with broken engine but replaced a guy who had just been fired by his team, and ended the race on that 2nd car.

I know there were a few co-winners of early 500s and there was one who was unhappy about being taken out of his car and never raced in the 500 again? (looked it up, it was Floyd Davis and Mauri Rose)

Other than that I can't really think of anyone.

George Snider started the race in a car of the 2nd team of Parnelli/Miletich but as the rain started chickened and brought the car into the garage just a lap before the race was red-flagged, letting the leader (Parnelli with the Turbine car) put him a lap down. Miletich was furious and fired him, hiring at the spot Lloyd Ruby -whose engine had blown- to finish the race on the restart the next day.

The official version lists Snider as falling ill and unable to restart, but Parnelli explained years later what had really happened

Didn't know that, but Ruby didn't finish the race according to the results, crashed out on lap 99?
