Whew, glad I survived that one. I managed to poke someone in the right rear on lap 1, sorry for that. Glad you did not spin off track.

All 4 corners were yellow at race end so I got my money's worth out of that car. Not sure how but I went from 11th to 10th on the last lap. Top 10 works for me! :champ:

Looking forward to the full season.

Really fun race! There were alot of incidents in front of me which helped me move from 11th to 6th, but luck is luck I suppose! I had a fun time working on my consistency. Lap after lap I was simply concentrating on keeping the car on the road and maintaining pace. It paid off!

I had passed Franck after he made a mistake and next on my hitlist was Tiago. I think Tiago had a voodoo spell on me because every time I got close I was making mistakes all over the place! I had lost about 7 seconds from being up his gearbox, because I got hooked onto the inside side of a curb, sending my car off the track.

Eventually I had caught up again to Tiago, and took 4th after he made a mistake in the last sector. A lap later I had to pit for fuel, costing me 32 seconds. I also think I overtook my teammate for the championship, Joel, as I went across the line - as he was pitting. A repeat of the overtake on Mike in the F5000 race!

I had a really fun race! Thanks guys! All the best of luck for the championship! :top:

The patch works great too! If you could fix the fuel economy to make the Jaguar last 30 laps longer I'll like that... hint hint lol!

My top 10 streak continues!!!

Turns out I forgot to tweak the medium and hard tires the way I tweaked the soft tires, and they still heat up too much. It was less noticeable here because the track is a lot easier on the tires than Suzuka, but I will have to release another patch, sorry for that ...

merci a l'organisation :hello:

I have to apologize for my race today..car was an absolute tempramental 'femme chien'.....

I was hagving to brake WAAAY ahead of time-I just don't see how you immortals are trail braking these cars...

And mid corner behavior was unpredictable.

Knew the car was crap-but figured I would learn somthing by participating.

Hope to have my act together by the 20th...

Practise Practise Practise! When braking, you need to come off the brakes gently as you slow down. Usually as you hear the brakes squeal you can start to ease off. Let the car glide through the corner and be gentle with the throttle. Straighten up, and gun it :D

High speed corners are better, as these are ground-effect-sort-of cars, they stick at high speed and grip well around corners.

Main rule - gentle with the gas.

Very Nice race it started quite well was racing with Frank and Gerard and i think i touched the grass on the fast R/Hand bend and ended up hitting the wall and damaged my front wing i lost quite a few places as i tried to catch back up , i had some nice laps with Mike and Gianluca and a charging Phillipe who had to pit early i managed to bully my way past Mike on Full Boost a couple of times , we all made mistakes but i think i probably came off the best .... Was gifted with 9th place on the last lap , as i think Frank might have pitted for fuel very late in the race ...

Very happy with 9th one place better than the last race ..

Very well done Gui and Lorenzo and congrats all finishers ... :drink: :champ:

Should be interesting to see how the Med Tyres last when we get the Next patch ... Wink

Maybe you should try reinstalling the mod (delete all the files first). It's rare but sometimes you get completely crazy physics and reinstalling can fix that. I'm not saying this is the solution, maybe you're just having a hard time with these cars ...

I was competitive because i have put 1/2 full race fuel, and soft tyres, in fact my strategy was completly wrong. :hum:
I had funny laps with Carl - Mike - Philippe, but a glory too short for me. :smil20:

It would be nice if the field was a lot more packed for the rolling starts. I know Philippe had some problem with his pedals and that opened a big gap to the leaders, but even behind him some drivers were really too far behind. I don't think its really hard to stay two or three cars lenghts behind the car you are folllowing during a slow lap.
