Does anyone have a base setup they would care to share for the 2.9 Porsche 962? I am having a hard time with this car for some reason. I can't seem to make it turn and be stable at all. Maybe it is just much more difficult than the Jag or Sauber but I have not been able to get this car within 2 seconds of my time in the Sauber which had the default setup! Any help with this car would be greatly appreciated!

Or if any of you Sauber or Jaguar guys want to trade to a 962 let me know!

I'd like to help but I find the default setup very driveable, and less understeery than the Jag or the Sauber.

Hi all, i'm new to HSO.
My youth were the 70'th and Sportscars racing was more interesting then formula 1.
After the last years with GTP/NR2003 i found you!
I trained some laps with the default setup in Elkhart Lake with the 2.9 Porsche #20, but my time is only about 1:59-2:00.
Is there a trick for faster driving via setup? I'm not really good in setup building and my home is GPL/NR2003 (at GPLRACER and RACESIMLEGENDS). I have rFactor some years, but i used it not really
So i am a beginner, hoping to be fast enough for you and with a place in the grid.

There is no magic setup trick on this mod, but if you are new to rFactor, I think you need time to get used to this simulation. Coming from the Papyrus sims to rFactor is difficult at first, the feeling is not the same. Only aliens can be really quick on both sims.

Also i have no really knowhow for setup development in rF. This will be helpful for me.

In this moment, i am stable with my my own at 1:56 sometimes 1:55 all with medium tires.

I keep braking too late with these cars, and the gearshift has served as a nice traction control device.

Had forgotten about he adjustable boost on these cars..need to get that configured on my wheel...

dailleurs j'aimerais bien savoir pourquoi il y a des jag qui sont allé jusqu'au bout avec les 100l et pas moi

The last time I drove this track was in last year's F5000 series; back then I crashed out on lap 5 at the high-speed kink. So I had a lot of apprehension going into this race. I figured it would be a repeat performance. Happily, it was not Did my best early on to conserve the tires and was pretty smooth for a while. I would have completed more laps if I hadn't made one big mistake -- missing my braking zone in one corner and striking the wall. 91 seconds for repairs, but I had a full lap on the next car so I kept my cool, rested my hands, and rejoined. Concentration waned towards the end, but I brought it home

The new tire file helped out immensely! Thanks for that and I'll see you guys on the 20th.
