| well i managed to do the 2.05 in the Gt by cuting the last sector. I didn't do it on purpose and I think no one in the race will do that on purpose but if you span out in that corner it's very easy to cut the track. or late braking in the chicanes, easyer to cut the chicane on the gras and exit the other side. In other tracks if you cut a corner and gain time over the normal route you get cought by the sistem. I think the solution is simple: Some one from the staf shoud watch the race and if someone cuts a corner and gain a place and don't give back the stolen place , the officials should notify the driver to make a drive through | |

| What is a good time for a GT40 here? My fastest lap has been a 2:14. I can run 2:15s and 2:16s somewhat consistantly with a 2:25 lap thrown in every now and then due to a very nicely blown chicane or two.
The hot lap I ran was in one of the 917s not available for reservation (#20 I think).
I am relieved that Viorel's 2:05 was a short cut lap. I was wondering how many pounds of NoS he was running for that one.

| Mike don't don't get drunk with water because i can run lap after lap in 2:10 or 2:09 so you better do the same if you don't want to lose contact. | |

Send me a postcard because I will be in a different postal code at race end! The big question is how often can you do that in a row? I suspect you'll become one with the infield pushing it that hard.

| This will be my first HSO race so a quick question about the schedule. First post in this topic says 8pm start of qual and then 8pm warmup. Is it supposed to say 8pm qual and then 9pm warmup then 9:05 race start? FYI, I understand the start rules and am glad you run it that way! The hotlap list is an excellent idea. Really builds momentum for the upcoming race. Edit - thanks for the updated times to whoever applicable.

I can't find a good balance there for the car. I don't think this car can have a good balance There are some setups on the ftp : ftp://91.121.135.76/setups/rFactor/WSC%201970/ There would be more if people were sharing more often

The car is rather hard to handle. Especially the brakes. You have to brake early (very early), and if you can, keep accelerating a little bit if you want to make it turn.
