WIP-Circuito de Vila do Conde

Guys, thank you so much!
About the importing... I was using the trial version of sketchup... wich is very limited in terms of exporting formats.
Now I've got Sketchup pro, wich saves in 3ds format
This is recognizable for BTB... so it works!! I've just tried do put 1 object I made on a track and it went well!!!
But I am now taking my time getting photos and textures of the track, and building the most important objects...
Then I'll study the conversion thing...
Only then I'm gonna remake the layout as I've lost it, learning to deal with the XPacks. No worries I can make that in 15 mins.
I'll get back to you guys

Ok, I've just finished the Light House (it's in the inside the last corner) the «Curva do Castelo»... where I have to put the Castle

HERE'S ONE QUESTION...
I've downloaded 3d route builder, and I've got an error when trying to update the altitude... it says it mising some files on the Google installer? Is this a Google earth free version problem, or not?

Yes of course Diego... and also investigate about trying to move but with a «spring effect».

And now... the flags that are to be found on the start line:





I've just learned how to make the «waves» on the flags and those big banners ... so I hope this is gonna look nice.

And as far as the track goes, things are like this...





Its just the first layout made upon the google image, and then rescaled to the real lenght of the track, 2.690 Km.
Next step its gonna be making the altitudes of the track.

This is the old dried cod factory. Its abandoned now. They plan to do something there (still don't know what).
This is where the fish was dried. As you know Portuguese are crazy about Cod.
But like eveything else here it is now closed.

Anyway this is called «Seca do Bacalhau» in portuguese, which baptized the Seca do Bacalhau turn (a fast one) located before the last «curva do castelo»... the tricky one

This is the park you will see on the «esses». I haven't putted more trees for now, because I'll have to test for FPS on that area, where there's gonna be tons of spectators on the stand, the church...

Thank you guys!!! You are keeping me motivated with your comments.
I think most of objects are done... of course they need to be tested; and see if there's no FPS issues...
Then, I'll maybe upgrade some textures and 3d forms on some of them...
But... I still have to solve the grandstands, and the castle issue. Also 2d vintage spectators
Ahhh and then learn that stuff about the horizons...

To be honest after seein the pictures, videos and the track layout, I even got interest in doing somewhen a turistic trip Vila do Conde, must be a beautiful place and I have been wanting to see Portugal already for some time (And buy some bottles of Madeira wine while at it )

In fact I've just arrived from Vila do Conde. I've been there with my wife and my daughter. Finally I took my Nikon and took some shots... It is beautifull and peacefull, but not today... there's a «fiesta» goin on these days...
The bad news is that I miss interpreted some spots and distance differences... so I'm gonna have to remake the Factory at least...

Well... I wasn't born here, I was born in Porto the north Capital city nearby.
But I felt in love with this little town.
Vila do Conde is or was known for 2 things: Racing, and this...



Was a town of naval construction and fisherman.
All here its related to the sea and the fisherman.
A few years ago the politics decided to spend some of the E.U.'s money on ruin the Vila do Conde track, to put some fency side walks and parking spaces.... you see the races disturbed the new reach people living by the beach... where it was suposed to be dunes... and a race track
