Round 1 - Norisring [June 17]

Well I too will not make the first race. Going to see good old Dad, the man who took me to the races when I was a kid and started this addiction!

The nature of this round (short track-quick races) has just sunk in. I'd forgotten the layout of Norisring.

Perhaps I can bribe the kids to take a pool break around 1pm-3pm local.

Maybe I can make this one after all...

Would love it is a fellow prancing horse driver could share a setup..

Sorry But i cannot make tonight's race

Sorry everyone I bumped in the 1st race, somehow my game was stuttering and freezing a lot in areas with many cars and smoke (chicanes and hairpins!!) and I could not control it well with such lag In the end it was full freeze and had to reboot. Sorry again, will change my graphic settings for future races

But not being able to score in the 2nd heat and being only a problem in the track for those who can, i will pass on the 2nd heat. It's crazy as I was by a good margin the quickest in Sport 3000 and was looking forward to a good race.

Sorry I missed the race, forgot about the time difference and just now realized it. Hope the races went well, I will be there for round two for sure.

Grats Gui and Lorenzo,i had 2 good races and was glad to finish both,few minor incidents with lapped cars,but was expected on tight small track with alot of cars,grats to all finishers

Soirée sauvée par le setup de Gui , j'arrivais pas à régler l'engin

Le début de la première a été marque par une bonne arsouille avec Frank , puis il a disparu a un moment dans le trafic. J'ai continué ma course tranquille pour le voir revenir comme une balle sur le timing en fin de course

Dans la 2, objectif, m'accrocher à mes 2.7s, et donc au pare-choc de la GT40 .

Me voila accroché tant bien que mal au pot d’échappement de la ford, elle même en arsouille avec Dario!
Puis au v1, Franky passe à 1600 de ping et se téléporte un peu partout sur la piste.

Après ça, la ford semble plus à la peine (une touchette lors du lag ), fini par faire une erreur, se sortir et disparaitre!

J'essaie de suivre Dario un temps, et fini ma course en surveillant Gérard qui reviens comme un obus sur le timing!

Ce circuit ne m'a jamais semblé aussi fun qu'avec ce mod

Première manche, j'avais mis le setup que Guillaume à posté sur le chat . Evidemment c'était pour la Sport 5000 Ferrari, ça ne l'a donc pas fait . Caler à 180 km/h à fond de 5ème en ligne droite , j'aurais été plus vite en 2 CV . Le plus marrant, c'est que je n'étais pas dernier , jusqu'à ce qui devait arriver arriva . Avec ma vitesse folle en ligne droite , je me suis fait emboutir l'arrière, voiture impossible à conduire, plus de suspensions, abandon . J'ai gardé le setup de Guillaume (merci Guillaume) car à part la boite le reste était très bon . 15 minutes pour étager la boite et c'est partit pour une deuxième manche. Grand changement pour moi, je parviens à me bagarrer avec des Sport 5000 pourtant bien plus rapide, beaux bastons et animation dans l'arrière course .
Je parviens à battre mon temps de 2010 de 1 seconde avec la même voiture et plus de handicap . Le coeur y est encore, ça donne de beaux restes quelques fois . Merci à tous, j'ai fait le maximum pour ne pas gêner les plus rapides en gardant ma ligne, j'espère que cela était bien et que je n'ai lésé personne dans s course .

Btw Gui: Christina Ronaldo scored 2 in this game; guess he was afraid of my training sessions as the whole team also, it's good to know that they can hear me

Yeah, Franky was really flying with the Ford in the second heat, i had a hard time trying to overtake him.
But then i'm not the fastest driver to ever sit in a Porsche.

Before I begin my apologies let me say I finished at the bottom of the heap in both races, and would willingly do so the rest of the season just to beable to see/race these magnificent cars-NICE MOD!!!

Only downloaded everythign about 6 hours ago, so was woefully unprepared for the race. Cobbled a setup and made it work.

Race 1 went not so great-a nervous right finger made multiple dowsshifts resulting in spins. And I had understeer-which put me in the wall a time or two. Not a well driven race.

Race two-Simon I am so sorry. A faster car was passing on the front staight, and I was racing a car for position. I got off line and locked the brakes and went straight into you. I am so sorry. I could do nothing.

And Bernard-I tapped you before going into the chicane-you caught me by surprise by where you turned in. I relinquished the position to you and did not contest it the rest of the race.

This track was a tough difficult introduction to these cars. I am SO looking forward to future races.

P.S. Pas de problème pour moi pour les contacts en course James , c'est inévitable sur un circuit aussi court . Je ne maîtrise pas toujours bien mes trajectoires non plus avec ces voitures qui glissent . Après replay en C2, mes excuses à Vincent Beretta que je touche à l'arrière et qui fait une pirouette, désolé Vincent .
