| The fuel tank on the Porsche is in the front, correct?
Had thought of running a full load of fuel to see how it would balance the car-but not certain if I will get in another test session for the race.
Cutting my brake pedal sensitivity from 50% to 25% has helped a great deal-but thisis a car to be caressed rather than ravaged...
No ham-fisted driving with this German mistress...

| What time will the race be ending in England? The Milan derby is at 7.45, so I'd like to catch at least the end of it?? | |

| Well I screwed it royally ... after not having turned more than 5 laps of training, had a pretty bad qualifying and was unable to find pace with cold tires. However I did a reasonably good first race, and started the second with good hopes. Had some fun fighting again with Greg and Ben, (Sorry if I was all over the place Ben, I was not comfortable at all with cold tires and the setup I was using ) including some comical moments like when Ben and me overtook on the stadium Diego each on one side His Ferrari had lost traction exiting a turn, and Ben and me were coming in the heat of our battle and found him in the middle, so each one went one side. Sorry if we were admittingly a bit wild Diego fortunately we didn't cause you to spin or damage, but it must have been a scary moment . Then I found myself racing alone behind Gerard Ryon but started having problems controlling the car, maybe lack of concentration, so I first jumped a chicane, then went out once and had to follow Greg again, and finally went out and again and damaged the rear suspension. Game over. It's pretty sad to have survived the Ring to get a 3rd place and now screw it like this here, but such is life | |

| It was a tough racing intro to the Porsche for me today. Race 1 just caouldn't get the first chicane right. Off a few times then pranged it mid race on the right front-it wasn't terminal, but SEVERELY impacted my left hand turns. Just struggled to the checker. Race 2 things felt a bit better. Finally got it together into the first chicane, but had a couple of offs at other places, and the gravel trap on the back stretch is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of it. Did a few decent laps and felt okay with the car at the end. Left the race and thought "Well, if it wasn't for the high speed braking going inot he first chicane you would probably have done okay. Maybe the next track will be kinder....." Then I checked the schedule... Monza..... | |

| I havec mixed feelings after those races. i did some decent laps in training. On 1st race, i was really frustrated because i was bumped on the side by a yellow porsche ) just before the chicane, lost some places and then i got stucked behind dario and his ferrari. He was struggling with his car on the braking zones but was too fast for me in the straights. Finally, we had a few laps of fighting with carl and then i screwed up and david passed me in the last lap just a few turns before the end. Was close to get my position back but he hold on. 2nd race was more fun still with carl and a few porsches. I got just behing franck and in the main straight line, i was so close to his bumper i pushed him when braking. I think he hit the wall, because while waiting for him thinking he went straight, i didnt see him come back so after a while i slowed down to let him go through. Finally i fought with him and carl again. | |
