Reinstall the track, you probably have done something wrong. Follow exactly Frank's post, it's working for others.

Ok, still didn't managed an entire lap (5 SS). I will try that tonight with my Front whell Escort I guess I'll do this like if I where shopping with the lady, otherwise I know I won't finish Anyone planning to go into the server tonight? P.S. Enyone else have those horrible flikering textures on the cameras? I mean in car no problem, but the replays are horrible with that flickering... worst then the ring.

The flickering is a problem described in the readme. The game was just not designed for such long tracks.

Hey guys, I have a question: Can I do the rally with the nose cam? I allways race in cockpit, but seems that here makes my driving safer. Is it ok?

I guess we should do this again with the tc 65 cars like alfas, fiats 600, lotus elises... I would be more easy for everyone... as the cars are more slow, but also more glamorous for a track like this. What do you think guys? But as you know I'm there!

I cannot control the car whatsoever with my current pedals. They are spiking like mental, if I don't have the pedal pressed down, it might think it's fully depressed. I don't know how I can fix this, and if I can't get this fixed, I don't think I can race.
I've tried reinstalling drivers, plugging it in and out of the pc, idk!

A bientôt

I completed the first leg with just two or three "proper" mistakes. I haven't got a clue how fast - or slow - I was but it felt reasonably good. I've got to say though, even with the slow sections giving a chance to relax a bit, two laps still is more than enough

I Have no idea how i did but with no practice and countless disconnections in practice i was not really expecting a lot from the rally .... So Im more than a little shocked to have completed the 1st 10 stages ....
I Had no real set up so i used my hillclimb set from a previous race and was more than happy with it ...
My Time is not important im just more than happy to have finished the 1st day
Great organization Frank and Hso

Wow Great!! I've managed to finish the 1st day! I was trying to pull back on my instincts of going fast. And that payd off. Great experience this was, but I must confess that at the start of SS6 I was feeling pretty tired already. I don't know how I went with I think, the only FF car around. Realy can't wait to see the times Thanks guys for this event.

OK a little debriefing before going to bed .
First, thanks to all those who came or tried to come despite having technical difficulties .
Except with individual problems regarding the length of the track, graphics or connexion I think all went rather smoothly. The starting procedure was not as ordonate as I would have wished so I'll try and think of a better system for the future races. The timing seem to have gone well too.
Now the bad news... I screwed up after the race and all the times have been erased and there is no server replay :S . What happened is that my internet let me down again today so I had to rush to my beloved Benny's home where I launched the server and gave everybody their start. As Ben and me could not race at the same time we decided that I would go for my two laps once I had given all the starts, and then after everybody had arrived Ben would do his two laps. All went well until when it was Ben's time to go, we noticed there was only 1 hour left in the session so he might not have the time to finish his two laps in time. So like a freakin noob I "restarted the weekend" on the server instead of "going to the next circuit" which would have saved the replay and times you all did. Instead it was all reset to zero like no one of us had ever put a wheel on the track Totally my fault guys I have no excuse. Blame it on me not being home, tireness, and also on Martin who gave me a bad advice before the race .
I do have my replay of course but I'm sure I won't be able to see everyone on it, so trying to extract everybody's times for this replay won't work I'm afraid.
I think the best, if everybody agrees, is to only count tomorrow's times and forget about today's ? This way even those who retired on day 1 can have a second chance. And those of us who had completed our two laps today, well, we got some good training right ? I understand it can be frustrating for those who did a great run today, especially Lorenzo I saw some of your times you were flying !
So apologies again to yall, it's so frustrating to have it all go smoothly all night long just to spoil it stupidly once it was all over .
