Round 13 - Monza

Me too, but Monza is a track with extremes: You have extreme high speed and extreme slow cornering in the chicanes, plus 2 very tricky medium speed corners with big influence on the long straights that follow, the 2nd Lesmo and the Parabolica.

So the compromise in the setup is not easy to get, and as soon as you are not doing Lesmo and Parabolica at the maximum speed possible, you easily lose a lot of speed in the ensuing straights. I think that the difference between doing both Lesmo and Parabolica perfectly at the limit and not doing so can easily go up to 3 seconds per lap.

Top drivers like Carlo or Greg can either use low wing and use their skills to take those turns very fast, or more wing and take them even faster, so the difference with less wing is not that much later in the straight. But us average guys have a hard time getting the compromise that is best, and whatever you tend to favour (speed or grip) hits back at you in the other sectors.

je trouve pas du tout que cette version '79 de Monza est facile
sinon c'est peut-être pasque j'avais des problèmes de freinage, hier, comme si les gaz remontaient quand je rétrogradais...

I took one of the Williams in Austria and I remember we had some duplication with the skins. If you want the #28 I have no problem at all, I can pick the #27 or any other car the admins assign me.

I'd suggest you to use a little bit more wing, like 2 at the front and 4 at the rear

Sorry to Mark Florin for the push , somehow I was much faster on Lesmo and we were racing close. Apologizes mate, hope you could continue racing well (Looked so)

This track is very narrow, I tried my best to keep clear from everyone I overtook or was overtaking me, but it is not very easy Had some good moments however racing with the pack, pity the track doesn't allow better racing ...

j'étais bien, j'ai évité tout les pièges du début de course, j'm'amusais avec Marc, je fait une micro-caresse qui me dévie même pas à de ces pneus d'#$£% à la 2ième chicane, ça suffit pour plier la voiture, délirant et décevant

Une bonne grosse soirée de merde, désolé mais je n'ai pas d'autres mots. Je n'ai pas pu rouler avec la voiture sur laquelle j'avais pris quelques marques sur les courses précédentes et je teste donc l'alfa. J'ai passé une partie de la soirée d'hier à galérer avec cette voiture ne réussissant pas à trouver un setup qui me permettre d'éviter de finir dans un mur. Au final, je récupère un setup de vincent surement pas destiné à l'alfa mais ça fonctionne. On fait un tour de chauffe tout va bien, on se met en grille, départ et la la catastrophe. Le moteur casse avant même que j'arrive au premier freinage.

Vive la fiabilité italienne.

Soirée de merde et plus jamais l'alfa. j'avais une williams, je poursuivrai avec.

Laurent faut que tu mettes le radiateur minimum a 4 voir 5 avec les V12 ( alfa , ferrari )

pour moi une course avec beaucoup trop d erreurs pour esperer challenger Carlo ( 3 spins ) malgré ca je finis a 10 s , dommage mais je ne peux m en prendre qu a moi

euh, en gros j'ai fait 500 m et le moteur casse ? ... j'ai tourné avec ce setup pendant 30 mn pendant le roulage libre pas un signe de chauffe et j'étais avec un radia à 4 soit le max. Je pense que je vais arrêter la avec ce mod
