Please note that modern day M1s are equipped with tyres that have far less slip angle and stiffer suspensions than what they had back in 79-80, so they do slide sideways and roll less in corners. Also, modern drivers do not slide around as much and try to be careful with the car, as it is a valuable classic now. F1 drivers had much less consideration to the cars back then
