To tell you the truth Toyota is not the ideal car for Suzuka, 48's will be a strech.

I think that's because you came on the server using "OATAS" instead of your real name Wink

This is annoying, if it wasn't you, it means that someone who hasn't registered to the championship is using our server with the player name OATAS. Neutral

Hmm... You know, for the amount of time you spend turning here, it's surprisingly easy on the tyres.

I've managed a 1:48.533 driving pretty conservatively about three laps into a stint, so I think there's definitely room for some high, maybe low 1:47's.

Toyota on the other hand is a tire eating monster. Right front locks up no matter what I do to the set up. Its the first time I can not apply full brake going into a corner.

To be honest, there's no way this race is going to be about raw pace anyway - the track is too narrow and there's going to be far too much traffic. Just up to the driver to not make mistakes - it's going to be tough to get the time back.

Did somebody already tried this track ?

I did 1'28"4, I should be able to go in 1'27. Another anti-Toyota track :aie:

Should be able to improve a little until the race.
My setup is not the definitive one.

I'm in the low 27s, 26s should be possible. :jp:

It's a very risky track. I wonder if I can make it to the end without crashing, I think not Razz

1'28"7 this evening.

Very difficult track. Narrow. It will be difficult to see the finish line.

I just can't heat my left tires properly
I don't know why Crying or Very sad

Your left tyres? That's strange since they get quite a bit of beating during the lap! Adding a bit of tyre pressure can up the temps a bit, but don't add too much because then the middle of the tyre will get too hot.

Thanks guillaume.
Unfortunately, I just can make that every lap.
But I am regularly on 1'29" if I stay on the track affraid

I have to say that I my lap times have really improved when I have decided to run with very high wings.
46° on the rear. Otherwise, it is definitely to tricky to take the chicanes.
I also tried with 39, but I was only on 1'30"
I don't know if it makes sense, but it works for me.

Regarding my tires, i have given some more pressure on the two left tires. I goes better with front left.
But my tires are in the range 160-170, which is surely not so hot to provide the car with maximal grip.

For sure, I will not be so fast during the race. As always, I will just try to have some fun and finish. :frank:
