TCL 1988 - Course de Côte du Mont-Ventoux [October 10th]

Our next Open event will see the first HSO venture into hillclimb (sim)racing. The event will be held on the hills of the famous Mont-Ventoux in the south of France, with the Group A Touring Cars of 1988 as featured in the Touring Car Legends mod for rFactor. => DOWNLOAD TCL <=

We will be using the 10.050 kms version of the track by Paul Pantelimon : => DOWNLOAD TRACK <=

Schedule

Sunday October 10th

8:00pm : Warm-up
8:50pm : Drivers’ briefing
9:00pm : Start Class 1 race
9:30pm : Start Class 2 race
10:00pm : Start Class 3 race

Server Password : hso88

A training server will be running 24/24 with the same password.

In each Class, the starts will be given at one minute intervals, in the order of the cars’ racing numbers.
The races will be run as a “qualifying session” as per rFactor’s rules.
In each Class, each driver will only have one attempt.

Available Cars

The field is divided in three classes. Each driver may choose one car in each class.

Class 1

The smaller 1.6-litre cars, with little horsepower to play with but fun to handle nevertheless.

Ford Escort RS1600i [1600cc | 160 HP @ 6,400 rpm | 940 kg]
Toyota Corolla GT [1,600cc | 175 HP @ 8,000 rpm | 930 kg]
Toyota Corolla Levin [1,600cc | 180 HP @ 8,000 rpm | 930 kg]
Toyota Corolla Coupé [1,600cc | 175 HP @ 8,000 rpm | 930 kg]

Class 2

The non-supercharged under 3-litre cars, similar to the one featured in our DTM series.

BMW M3 [2,600cc | 310 HP @ 8,500 rpm | 1030 kg]
Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 [2,300cc | 310 HP @ 8,700 rpm | 1050 kg]

Class 3

The big cars class, with the turbocharged cars and the over 3-litre aspirated ones.

Ford Sierra RS500 [2,000cc Turbo | 473 HP @ 6,800 rpm | 1180 kg]
Nissan Skyline GTS-R [2,000cc Turbo | 400 HP @ 7,200 rpm | 1180 kg]
Rover Vitesse SD1 [3,500cc | 340 HP @ 7,000 rpm | 1195 kg]
Toyota Supra [3,000cc | 330 HP @ 7,300 rpm | 1180 kg]
Volvo 240 Turbo [2,100cc Turbo | 350 HP @ 6,500 rpm | 1140 kg]

All the upgrades for these cars are allowed, except the "Special TRD Engine" for the Toyota Corollas.
