| Sorry been out for a meal with my family as its my daughters 18th Birthday today ... There is no Irish link the driver was born in Lancashire which is in the UK remember him driving against Davina Galica ..... This track was the first place i ever went to see a car race they also staged Rallycross here in the 70's ..It was very basic but was always close racing i can remember toilets where nothing more than a tin shack with a bucket in the ground to squat over ,but it was always a great place for spectators ... One of my most favourite memories was watching Doug Niven in a 5 litre VW Beetle tearing the place up ... Theres some big clues in there ... | |
