| Hey guys, just installed Redline GTP for the first time on my Vista PC...(hadn't raced GTP since my old XP PC)
Anyway, so I've done all I thought is correct, but I can't get on track anywhere. I load up GTP Singleplayer Day, and all the tracks instantly go to Could Not Load Track. I don't know what I'm supposed to do here as I haven't had this problem before.
My other installs of NR2003, for NASCAR, load fine and all is well on that front.
3D Audio is off like they say, I don't know what to do. Tracks are in the correct directories.
Any help?
Also, whenever I quit the game from the menu, the game ends but the menu stays up (blocking the desktop even though the game process has ended), i just see my Desktop mouse icon (rather than the white in-game mouse), once I control-alt-delete the menu disappears.

| What tracks are you trying to run Sasha? I don't know what all gets copied over, but if you try installing the Daytona 1991 track I know for sure that all the necessary files are there. Check for five "fast.gtp.xxx" setups, where xxx denotes the car type - Maz, Toy, etc... Basic, but that's usually the cause of tracks not loading. | |

| Im running almost default stuff
I have infineon, watkins glen (the originals), sebring gtp, spa gtp, and your Daytona/Miami Centennial. Nothing loads.
All the files are there I see.
Basically, fresh install of NR2003, patch 1201, Redline GTP, configured graphics, installed those 4 tracks, setup my wheel and stuff in-game, clicked testing, goes straight to Could Not Load Track.
I'm stumped here. | |

| Did you make sure that the tracks you installed in your GTP\trackD folder all have their own copies of:
fast.gtp.jag fast.gtp.maz fast.gtp.sau fast.gtp.toy and fast.gtp.sim
Tracks will not load in GTP unless those files are present in each track folder. If you have a track that didn't come with those files, just copy them over from some other track into the folder for the track that won't load. Of course, you'll have to modify those setups if they came from a different track. But the key is that each track MUST have those files in order to load in GTP.
Hope that is the problem and this helps. If that's not the problem, then I'm lost.

| no all the tracks have those files.
as i said, i've only added four tracks, Brendan's Daytona + Miami, plus the Sebring and Spa (from the FTP).
nothing works. ive decided to give it another go installing. will report back after.
thanks for the help. | |

| Just re-installed everything and now I get to the Track Weekend (meaning the tracks load!)
But the game crashes as soon as I click drive. I'm running with the CD in (I know no-cd patches sometimes make things crash on vista)
EDIT: It's working again and I didn't do anything lol!
