Surely we at Team Atlas/Ringrace are interested in continuation of GTP endurance racing.

Sure you can, but keep in mind that we don't know yet if the series is to take place or not

Tell me the names of all your drivers who could be interested, and whether you plan to drive yours cars by team or solo. You can't come up with your own carfile, just take a look at the booking's thread and you'll understand

Surely we gonna drive as teams/crews, not solo drivers.

I'll create the topic on our league forum to measure the interest, but I think the preferred cars will be Saubers and Jags.

As you've seen, there aren't a lot of Jags and Saubers available. Nothing is mandatory on that point, but we would like people to have a gentlemen agreement, and thus let faster cars for slower drivers. For example, me and my pals will take a chassis A (Toy).

"Slower drivers" is a pretty gentle way to describe the pure speed capabilities of members of our team, except for Arturo Pereira and Alex Schokin

Having you guys on Saubers wouldn't disturb me. (no disrespect meant, but as you said you're not the fastest guys around) However, Alex Schokin as you said is on another level, he ought to take a slower car like a Mazda or a Toy.

It's up to you to decide what will be best for you according to the opponent's level of skills and your own.

As Alex very well said, AtlasF1/Ringrace will be glad to race with you !! We also run a GPL series on Saturdays, bi-weekly and this may interfere in my case since I am in charge of the server and also drive that series.

In any case, let us know the planned days for the races and I am sure we can participate as much as we can. I am the only one who could face some restrictions.

Oh, and I am not as fast as Alex suggests, though I am used to drive the SilkCut Jaguar #2.

About the 1989 carset, I have already paint some of the 1989 and 1988 cars and have an specific 1989 SilckCut Jaguar, as well as other cars. Send me an email or PM is you need me to help with the paintings.

I wont to play this championship,but i wont instructions for this,i cant join in multiplayer (no servers on line) and the skins and tracks are avaliables?.

There are no servers online anymore on this mod, only league events.

You have to install them in your TracksD folder.
But some tracks won't work immediatly with this GTP mod, you'll have to copy in the track's folder all the 4 fast.gtp.xxx setups you will find in the folder of a track who works.

For the skins, I don't know, maybe Antoine has a link.

Here are my G25 settings for GTP if it can help. Be aware that I tick "apply permanent profile--->GTP" in the G25 profiler before driving GTP.

You ought to book a car asap even if you're not planning to run all the races, because there aren't many slots! You guys are fast, so it'd be better not to have you on faster cars (Sauber, Jag...) if you don't mind.

Just made my way over here. Very good start and I like the theme of the site, historics. Thanks Milt for the info as well. I absolutely want to get on board with this. Though I have not run 80% of the tracks. Timing will be tough for me still. We wun 15 scheduled events throughout the week on two servers now so I am quite busy. Mostly late nights in the USA. I work Saturdays more often than not unfortunately. Which kept me running only 1-3 races per year at oatas. I am hoping to loose my Saturday shifts sometime in 2009. Maybe by the summertime. In the meantime, I will be happy to promote GTP racing over here however I can. We have a few good road racers over at fsb with some GTP experience but mostly with the fixed setup PTA series we run on Tues nights. If you like, please send me a fairly small banner and a description so I can promote for you guys. fsbracing@yahoo.com.
