I Just popped out and i was thinking the same thing Italy Team should be Alfa or Ferrari ....
UK Team can take the Ecurie Evergreen car
that leaves Gui's with dont worry theres plenty of Matra's to go around ....

I Feel it will be a lot easier to pick a team mate once the
Cars are available to pick on the 16th Novemeber .....

Alfa is good car and good sounds too... but Let win something Italian ...

It will be great for us to drive an Alfa or a Farreri too (even if I'm sure Ferrari 312P never raced in Nurburgring), but i wrote here that Alfa only speek french...

That's right: in 1969 Chris Amon&Pedro Rodriguez but they did not finish ; however in 1970 only four 512 and no one 312 .

You're both wrong in fact. The 312P the game presents never raced at Nurburgring. The version used is the 'berlinetta' one which appears only after Nurburg. At that race the Ferrari 312 was on open top car not a close one.
So it's not really the same car as it was a bit slower than the Berlinetta made in hurry by the Scuderia to match the 908/1 coupé in terms of speed for Le Mans. But it was a failure as the car even in close top version was unable to follow the 908 in straights (something the modelisation of the game don't take into account as the 312P is a very faulty car in CSGT)

Pour celui qui est bien trop fort et trop rapide, s'il veut s'ajouter une contrainte pour corser sa course, je suis dispo.
Je ne suis ni un bon pilote, ni un pilote régulier en course, et il n'est même pas dit que je ramène la voiture entière dans les pits. Par contre j'aime le ring

Hello everyone,

I am an experienced simracer on a variety of sims and am a huge fan of racing from this era. I have followed this mod since F1C days and know it/enjoy it quite well. This event interests me very much and I would like to say I would like to put my name out as looking for a team.

However:

I used to live in the US, just moved here to Poland for University and dont have my wheel or PC yet. It is in the process of making its way here, but I still don't know the details.

What I'm basically trying to say is, I will be checking here very often, and updating my status as I learn things, but if I have everything necessary and am ready to go by one week / 1 1/2 weeks before the raceday, then I am open to drive for anyone's team that would need a driver (maybe someone pulls out) or is willing to accomodate a third. I know it seems very last minute with me, but I just love the idea of the event and if there's anyway I can make it I just want it to be known that I'll drive for your team (I would, however, like to avoid driving an Alfa or Matra)

I've raced rFactor, GTR2, LFS to some results I am quite proud of. I am quick and consistant.

So basically:
I'd like to be a last-minute turn-to driver (Kind of like it would happen back in those days ) if I can make it. Essentially, short-list my name.

Furthermore,
I love the idea of this forum/league so if I miss this event (hope not) I still hope to start racing with you guys when I get the chance.

Tu peux me retirer de la liste Gui. Vu que tout saute dès que je suis sur le serveur HSO ce n'est pas la peine que je m'aligne avec quelqu'un pour lui ruiner sa course.
Je comprends rien. Un tech FT a fait des tests et ma ligne est bonne. Je n'ai jamais le moindre souci avec les telechargements. Mon internet tient la route et ne presente pas de plantage intempestifs.
Je pensais que c'etait rFactor. Mais non car meme avec une reinstall toute fraiche ca plante encore. Visiblement, pour une raison que j'ignore, certains serveurs sont extremement problématique point de vue connection alors que d'autres passent comme une lettre à la poste. C'est vraiment tres tres etrange comme bug

Would be cool to have 3 italians driving an italian car, but the Alfa is very popular, i'm not sure you will get one. Maybe you should think about the Ferrari 312P, it's quite easy to drive and also very fast
