Time x2 Fuel x4 Tyres Normal Weather Fixed (sunny) Real Road Naturally progressing.

Prequalifying The fastest 8 cars of each class (=32 cars) plus the 8 following fastest cars regardless of class will be retained.

Starting procedure Standing start, no formation lap. Grid 2-2-2, PP right.

Sunday April 9th (all times given are CET) :

20:00 - Qualifying session (60 minutes, unlimited number of laps)
21:00 - Drivers' Briefing
21:05 - Race Start (42 laps)

A training/pre-qualifying server will run 24/7 until April 8th at 10pm. It will use a static RealRoad setting, and can be accessed using the same password as for the race server : hsogs23.

For this first round of the 1954 series we are introducing an update v1.424 of the mod.

It is a graphics only update – the physics and car specs have not been altered.

A deeper v1.500 with complete revision of both the physics and specs, as well as many other goodies in the graphics and sounds department, will be released for the 1955 series.

In the meantime here is a list of what can be found in this v1.424 update :

Menu icons and images for all cars
Each of the historical driver assigned to a car now has a helmet matching the one he used in real life
Some skins have been updated, with some RGB settings revised and the like
Both the works Mercedes and Jaguar cars now have individual colours markings to differentiate each car from its stable mates
The Ferrari 375 MM genstring has been modified : all 375 MMs now have the same body as the 375 Plus, except the #3 Cunningham car
Corrected Scuderia Italia Gordini name to Squadra Italia Gordini
The 2.5-litre Gordini is now called “T15S” to help differentiate it from the 3-litre and 2-litre sister cars
The Lancia D24 benefits from a brand new 3D model

Thanks to woochoo, Jukka Nähri and Toby Johnson for all the great work on this update.

Please note that a couple of car icons in the menu differ from what you get in game. For instance the works Jaguar markings are not featured in the icons, while the 375 MMs still have their old body. Lack of time prevented us from including the proper icons, sorry.

Installation

--> DOWNLOAD V1.424

You need to install the update manually, on a fresh v1.300 install of the mod.

Uninstall and delete any other versions, such has the v1.423 we used for the 1953 series or the v1.350 that was used in last year’s HRRC, before installing v1.424.
