Hi, never try this stuff, I'm kindly asking if Frank or someone fella can select a car for me. Possibly not an overpowered car, i prefer an easy one. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
edit: Tried the #31 (a beast for me but affordable) and the #44 (a little heavy without the power of the 31)... Maybe the #31 is the best choice in the lowest cubic inches cars.

I would advice on the 3-litre Aston-Martin (#20/21/22) which is a good car to discover the mod . Talbot is nice too but isn't has efficient as the Aston on this tight track.

je pense qu'il faut s’entraîner sous la pluie , les prévisions météo pour la semaine de la course sont très "british season "

Yes. I think I managed 28 laps in the deluge before damage was too great to continue. I found so many different things to hit! Right now the weather forecast says clear on March 4. Edit: Sorry. I don't know what I was looking at. Light SNOW (Does rF2 even model that?) starting tomorrow, turning to light rain on Wednesday.
BTW I'll join with the #39 and try to annoy some Oscas as they lap me.

I think (and I must not be the only one) that running in the rain will be a problem ... Besides the behavior (like on ice!) but in addition the reflections on the track are a real annoyance and takes away all pleasure to drive ... unless you put the intensity of the rain to a minimum if possible but that doesn't solve the problem of reflections.

@Christian For road reflections, I just turned them off in game display options. It 's not perfect solution.. but well, at least there's no more mirror on the surface of the track.. I did few more laps in heavy rain after you left the server and I think that it's not that difficult like it looks at the first glance. I'm sure you will learn after a little practice ..

Think I'll give myself a challenge at this track and pick the Cunningham #2 and see how I get on with it.

Si on peut ôter l'effet miroir c'est très bien, se sera un véritable challenge de terminer la course sous la pluie et le défi me plait

Sorry guys, I was very busy, couldn't keep up with it all these days.
OK for the cars David and Petr
For the rain, please try to come for practice at 19:00. We'll see what gives with the full field and if too many people have troubles with the wet conditions we'll set it to dry. Not sure it'll be wet anyway, predictions are for cold but dry weather with very light chances of rain.

Could I have the #1 5.5 Cunningham-Chrysler C4-R
My thinking here, is, as there are only 2 8 litre entries, assuming I finish 90% of the race distance, I am guaranteed points?

Yes no problem You are right indeed re Gold Star points. A wet race would have lasted over an hour and given more points, but it will most likely be dry and thus under 60 minutes in duration.
