Just got back from the event, lots of fun and a huge, spectacular shunt on lap 1 that caused the race to be under caution for 6 laps.

We got to see some american beauties that are rare in the EU:

1) The right attitude: 



2) Practicality in a muscle car - Chevy ElCamino



3) Not sure about this one, it's an older model Challenger right? Blew the engine in his first 1/4 mile while on its way to a 11-12 seconds run. Sad!



4) A living legend, F1 Champion, Indycar Champion, Indy500 winner. Not many people walking this earth can say the same. He gladly let us have a pic with him, all smiles and patience with the big qeue lining up. 



5) A very nice guy, Bobby Labonte always ready to pose with the fans (Though not that many people knew him around here in EU). We even had a quick chat, like:

Us: What a pity there are no ovals here
Bobby: *Sighs* I know

Wow! What a great event, and your sons got to meet a living legend! Fantastic. Thank you for sharing.

There kind of are or were, Rockingham got closed and will probably get torn down for buildings while nobody uses the Lausitzring Oval anymore.

Euro Nascar is going around that by racing at Venray and maybe the "parking lot" oval at Tours?

It looks like everyone was being friendly and you got to meet Jacques and Bobby.

Its such a shame that the UKs only real oval (Rockingham) has been closed.

1972 Dodge Demon. Same as Plymouth Duster except different front and rear ends.
Under appreciated, lower cost, and lightweight(relatively speaking) muscle car right at the end of that era.

The one with the red T-shirt, he is my first-born. The other is Juan, he is 12 yo. 

The big shunt at the start is at 18.25. Makes us at HSO look like pros 

After the Procar round at the Österreichring for example, I am pretty sure we just have as massive shunts as that
