Great report as usual, just a note: 77 is a BMW Austria entry prepared by Schnitzer for Quester, Helmut Marko had his own car #88 entered for Gartner. study

Thanks Alberto. I took the info from the pop-ups that appear when you click on the cars in the results pages on the home site.

I'll see how I can work around this as it kind of ruins my Helmut Marko story lol! lol!

Nordschleife has no signature bends Timo ? How about Flugplatz or the two Karussells ? Wink

Opinions my friend, opinions... Still, are those really in the same league as Blanchimont, Signes, R130, Masta, Maison Blanche, Canada Corner... Les gouts et les couleurs, as they say in France. I'm not a big fan of the Schleife... But I guess that was already clear Very Happy Very Happy .

Signes is the fast right corner at the end of the Mistral straight at the Paul Ricard.
Maison Blanche doesn't exist anymore, it was a very fast left kink at Le Mans.
Masta was a super fast and scary chicane on the old version of Spa. You have died multiple times there if you have played Grand Prix Legends :D

There are so many iconic pics taken at Flugplatz or the Karussell that I can't see how they can't be classified as legendary turns, even for somebody who doesn't like the track Wink

TBH Flugplatz is not a bend, it's a crest that causes cars to go airborne and the Karrussell (the first one) can be considered only "signature" if you understand that as iconic, i.e. a very recognizeable feature of the track itself. But not if you consider it a technically challenging turn unequal to any other track in the world. The Karrussell is not difficult, nor high speed, nor unequal to any other track in the world, as many feature hairpins and even cambered hairpins.

The Ring is inconic as a whole, not because of a particular turn you can consider signature in that regard, it is not a single bend what gives the track most of its character, it's the whole of it. Very much like Indianapolis or Daytona (Though at Indy you could argue with turn 1).

And like Bathurst IMHO for that matter.
