So, I'll try one last time with the T160, although I think its handling is excessively bad (I must not be the only one, right ?! )
Again, on this small circuit, there will be no place for 2 trajectories ... so be patient

Anybody else having weird framerate issues on this track? Like stutter when turning. All alone on track Never have problem anywhere else. Would love to ground that helicopter, and kill the birds... Maybe it would help?

No, but my old machine sure the hell did. Hated that helicopter and wanted to shoot it out of the sky. Those pesky birds too!
Are you running rF on a single core, or forcing it to use all cores of your cpu?
Got any way to monitor what hardware might be taking the hit when the stutters happen? MSI Afterburner will allow you to monitor it, if not. Can log it and [possibly] see what's going on. (Can also be certain rF is utilizing multiple cores that way)

Yeah, need to patch exe too. Forgot. This is a 2 month old machine. Major upgrade from my previous i5 machine from 2009 (which ironically had no problem with this circuit) I'll look into ur other suggestions, even though never heard of any of them lol

Well, it's heavily dependent on the single core performance of the cpu, so depending on your current cpu it actually makes sense. A lot of the i5s (depending on which one) have a very strong single core performance.
You don't want to force it to use a single core, Martin. It already does that. You want to force it to utilize multiple cores, so as to spread the load out some.
To do that: To maximize it's processor use simply create a shortcut of your rFactor.exe, then right click it and go to properties. At the end of the target line add the following: +fullproc this gives rFactor and allows all processors to run rFactor so it can be run to its maximum potential. Example: "C:\Users\[YOUR PC NAME]\Desktop\GPVWC 2012\rFactor\rFactor.exe" +fullproc
(copy and paste because it's early and my brain is not yet working wholly)
Some also recommend adding a high priority line. I've never found that beneficial, but I don't have a lot of background stuff running when I'm racing either. For more info, just use a search engine, "rFactor full proc" and a bunch of stuff should show up for you.

That's probably because you have an actual life outside of this stuff.

It's, by default, already utilized in AMS. No need to add the command line.
I recommend MSI Afterburner software to monitor this stuff and more. Graphs for cpu/gpu/RAM/others usage. Graphs for temps of all that as well. Very very handy tool to monitor when and where bottlenecks or other strains are occurring.
You can also set fan speeds and curves through afterburner, and I find that handy as I like to run my gpu fan at a single setting rather than a curve that has it speeding up and slowing down constantly. I can observe and control heat very efficiently with the software. ...not resource heavy at all.

Does this make Dr. Whited a "+fullproc -- tologist"????
