| Before causing a discussion afterwards, what's the track limit through Woodcote? | |

I think that its quicker if you stay on the race track, not cutting.

I think that its quicker if you stay on the race track, not cutting. Exactly. If you try to cut through the light grey apron, you actually lose more speed on exit. So it's not worth it.

| So i thought i'd tell everyone how to go faster through a possibly dodgy gearbox mechanic i've found. If you flatshift (don't lift off the gas) your upshifts you instantly gain 2ish mph with each shift. You have to have the h pattern option selected in the car selector screen. Makes no difference whether you have autoclutch on or off (other than the wear maybe) It might gain you half a second or more a lap. I just randomly drove a lap flatshifting the other day and it was extra quick, but i only realised the speed jumped up weirdly when i had the rfactor speedo up earlier to check fuel. Figured the decent thing to do was tell everyone. I've now gone back to regular lift shifting and my best is a 41.8 | |

| Sky, you have a helluva lot going on besides flat-shifting!
Those lap times are just plain old great driving!

Just asking, because I hade a situation while practicing, where someone passed me, but overshot corner entry and I could pass him in a drag race before the finish line, but took a path that involved the apron.

| So is the first timed session a actual race? Or is it like 15 min of qualifying? | |

| I have a seemingly minor issue to report...
I have "bought" the car that I will be running here today. I have installed the treaded tires. But when I go to the multiplayer session, it shows that I do not "own" this car. I exit multiplayer, and it shows I do indeed own this car, and I've checked and triple checked the treaded tires (was able to lay down laps on server and am sure I would have got a mismatch if I had the slicks on) and I cannot think of anything else that would cause this.
Not really a concern to me, I can overlook the symbols above the car. Meaningless stuff for me. Anyways, question becomes, will this be an issue for me come race time? I wouldn't imagine it to be, given I can get on server and all is as it should be. But.....just in case, asking anyways....TIA

| Another Sunday, another withdrawal. This it's because I've moved into a new apartment, and I don't have internet up and running just yet. Not the start of 2018 I wanted, but I'll bounce back. | |

| read my post again in the customisation>player menu where you select series theres 'formula ford' and 'formula ford tread tyres version'. pick the second one. the cars then don't have the option to buy treaded tyres because they all already have them. | |
