I was pleased with myself after a 1:14 lap earlier today, yet went nowhere in the race Made a number of mistakes and finally wrecked and rolled the car

it was going fairly ok until i suddenly realised i had a leader lapping me to my inside in turn 1, which was where i ideally wanted to be turning at that point, so promptly threw the car at the scenery

My apologies to many drivers i've evolved in my crash, Dauger was running slowly, first time he change the lines in front of me!! I spin and many drivers are evolved in this incident, 2 time he slowly again try overtake him and I lost my car and cause another crash, this time was huge wreck.
complete frustration,

Pas de problème, Philippe, c'est la course.
Pas facile pour Christian Dauger de débuter sur ce mod.

Bruno, watching the replay I can see you had some trouble down the back straight and was getting out of the way of other drivers.. That's great! But did you have to re-join there? just over the bump? then to stay on the racing line?? going 180 down the back straight I couldn't even see you for a heads up before hand.

Crashed myself out after about 65 laps at the end of the back straight.
I got hit on the right rear on the start line, that put the steering out of line. On lap 2 I didn't give it the right angle over the final crest and went off. I came back from last to 11th when the right rear suspension collapsed. Shortly after the repairs I crashed it properly and retired. Sorry to those I held up while crawling back to the pits.

Sorry for the moment of hesitation .... not always easy in these cases ... 1/2 second of uncertainty: smil20: As Yves say, first race here with this Mod and also this circuit: pale: I force myself to do my best (when it's possible, it's not for me to get out!) To let in and hinder as little as possible.

What a fight with the car. Faster with 250L of fuel than in Qualy with 10L....
Very glad to finish the race, almost flipped over at penultimate lap!
Looking forward to St. Jovite

Thanks everyone for making such a great full field. Traffic was everywhere, at least it seemed that way in a M8F. Sometimes it was difficult to guess where to pass people and I'm sorry for the ones where I nudged you, I remember a yellow Lola. Congrats to all finishers. Thanks for the broadcast I have to go and watch it now.

This was easily my clumsiest drive to yield a finish.
I knew that, given my limited prep time, I didn't have the speed to challenge on pace so I focused on keeping clean and letting attrition do its thing. This worked until around half-distance when my rear tires started showing their wear and I gave away more than a lap's worth of time with silly spins, running wide, and otherwise blowing it.
Here's hoping St Jovite treats us all a little better...and has a few more polygons in the track mesh.
Congrats to all finishers!

My apologies Grant, I did what I could to get out of the front of the other cars. I was hit back and I lost the rear wing and a flat tire. I was just trying to get the car repaired. I'm very sorry about what happened.
