Round 1 - Mosport [Jan 14th]

so i compared the fuel consumption of my canam car with a formula ford around silverstone. both use somewhere around 3 litres a lap.

surely an engine thats 5 times the capacity and 5 times the power should use a bit more fuel?

The race is 80 laps, so you will need 240 liters to complete the race. I don't think it's the can am cars that are wrong.

Quick question...

I noticed on the hotlaps page that my car shows as team A.G. Dean...but in the entry list it's listed as Motschenbacher Racing. I see other Motschenbacher racing cars in the list though.

Is this a wrong selection I have made? I don't think so, I don't see any other selections for this particular car in the menu, but I'd like to be sure this is normal and acceptable before race time.

both my car and austin johnson's one say barrett racing on the hotlaps page, when they should be midwest and rainer brezinka racing

Is it possible the hotlap page selects the team on alphabetic basis, instead of car numbers?

All lap times with the M8D are listed as AG Dean. Like Sky said, the team listed for the M6B is the one which comes first in the alphabet.

The #12 Motschenbacher is an M8D/E, but there's only one of those, it's not a "regular" M8D.

In regard to the Hotlap team name question, David Sabre is the best one to ask.  It could be down to the file structure of the mod itself.  As long as you all are selecting the proper car in the menu before you go online, I would not be concerned.

Rolled my car there twice,only happens if you turn in on the left side of the track.

Probably a good idea to stay out of the grass track right exiting moss as well. There's a black hole down there that will swallow the car

...shouldn't be down there anyways...but I was down there "taking a look around" and fell off into the ether. Just a warning.
