Seems that I have a family dinner on the same day as the race so I won't be in the best conditions to drive a GP with these cars in the evening
Therefore, if someone really wants the Mercedes #5 he can have it. If nobody picks it, I will race it on sunday the best I can

Merci Yves
I knew that the car could go much quicker, it just needed a top driver to unlock the potential
The difference at fast tracks like the Avus or Spa should be even bigger, so I think we are OK in terms of relative performance.

Still we are much quicker than the real life pole, which was 2.32
I believe the reason is that we are doing a crazy jump between turn 1 and 2 that real drivers would never do, and also driving through the forest as if we were inmortal (Which we are, but the real drivers were not ). Plus the margin of inaccurancy in both physics and track

Yeah, Juha, David and me were already discussing that unreal jump at the start of the lap, that sequence of corner was much more flowing from one side to the other(less straight-lined) without enough surface irregularities to make such a big jump happening.
I mean, I could travel to Bern Bremgarten and see how it is if that street is still there.
The Motorsport Aktuell had an issue where they walked the track... some motorway and building projects cut up the former circuit.
Here are some pics: https://permanenttourist.ch/2013/06/bremgarten-grand-prix-circuit/
And thanks to someone making a tribute to Bernd Rosemeyer, we can kinda see how Bremgarten looked like. We can actually see that the section we talked about absolutely had no reason for the cars to jump:

If I get a chance, Ill do few more laps, but with this integrity of practice, Ill be a collosal danger on the track, which Ill rather avoid.
Dont know about Timo, but you can remove me from the seat.
thank you nonthanless..

Sorry to hear that buddy. And sorry for non-responsiveness: crazy at work lately.
I will take the 46 Alfa for now and do my best. If you reconsider, we can obviously share the car.

Thanks Timo, your kind as allways.
This cars are just far beyond my driving skill and with allmost no time for practice there is no point!

I'm not going to participate in this race. The cars are a whole load of fun to drive but for one, I'm just not feeling motivated enough to drive my car for a whole race distance, and i've got bitten by the AMS bug.
