You can't have your name attached to more than one car at a time. This is spelled out in the series rules. In order to drive #27 Sunday, you would have to give up your full-time drive in #1

So, I talked with them, Augusto has no problem using the #27 car on Sunday. But I don't know if the rule allows Augusto change car before the race, after he confirmed on #1. Can you clarify for us?

The rules state that a one-off driver cannot switch cars once a selection is made.

I have got a very strange problem only occuring while racing on the server!
I have the trottle 'jammed' or 'staying open' while braking making me stay on high revs locking up excessively. This has nothing to do with my wheel (G27), I have no problem what so ever offline (on this circuit) or in any other mod for that matter.
At Mid-Ohio i had another smaller issue where my clutch settings worked very different online. Irritably accepted that but this issue at Elkhart is preventing me from racing atm. Would be greatful for assistance.

Got it working. Figuring it might be the cause of me re-using a setup from a different circuit? Since I have a different car modell for this event (87 over the 88).

I've had a similar issue in this mod (and seems to be only in this mod)... I noticed at Cleveland that I would often accelerate out of a corner and it was like I was not fully pressing the throttle, like I was at 3/4 throttle and sort of "blipping" if that makes sense.
Looking at my controller settings I pressed the throttle and realized that it wasn't always holding at full throttle, it would bounce a bit, like I was lifting and smashing it. I normally run that pedal at 0% sensitivity, a personal preference. In this mod, I've had to up it to 20% or so to keep the throttle fully engaged.
I can go out of this mod and into another, using the 0% sensitivity setting and I watch the throttle pedal and this issue is not there. So, I'm 100% positive that it's not a pot issue in my pedals (nearly brand new TP3A pro pedals).
Anyways, moving those sensitivity settings while observing pedal travel on the UI, until I'm satisfied does the trick, so it's not an issue for me now. Wouldn't even mention it as I sorted it myself, but maybe that will help John or others sort this issue (as I'm thinking it might be the same issue, whatever "the issue" is)

Jason, I'm going to use # 27 because it's free, my friend Claudio Augusto will be running on Sunday with car number 1. So I used car number # 27.

Claudio will need to ask for the #1 himself. And you realise by you choosing to run the #27 your are giving up your #1 car for the season. Not just this race.

someone could ask claudio if he'd swap to the 27 instead for this race, or would that be too simple?

Ok, as long as you realize you are giving up #1 as a full time drive.

An unexpected community event conflicts with the start time tomorrow so I will not be racing. A little sad as this is the only HSO road course I've had experience with--in another series. I certainly would not be fast, but I planned on a good finish. But it is not to be.
So #24 is available.
