Too bad we still lost over half the field at Toronto without yellows. In the end, there were probably too few cars left to even cause a FCY if it had been enabled!
But hey, I am biased. I wouldn't have lost 5 laps right at the start if there had been a yellow

No, this is us trying to make the races finish at a decent hour because certain crashtasic individuals keep triggering yellow after yellow after yellow.
We have Andrea DeCrasharis among us????

On a road course? Now that would require a special kind of stup-nevermind
TBH, I still preferred them with yellows. It's just... historically accurate, no?
Believe me, the admins are not at all happy we had to do this.
I understand you guys not being happy about doing it. And it cost a lot of people at Toronto. But we have to admit the on-track behavior at Cleveland by several was a joke! Made worse at Toronto since there was nowhere for the idiots to go besides in the way.
I'm hoping that Mid-Ohio, being a permanent road course, will alleviate some of that since we won't be running like rats in a maze, i.e. runoff room. (Boy, I hope I don't take anybody out this week.)

It has come to our attention that you missed the last two races in a row; per series rules, that means you have lost your full time ride. We will have to put it through the re-allocation process after Sunday.
You could drive one of the open cars, including #21, in the meantime.

A bit cold and formal welcome back Jason but you are right, I missed two races in a row. If anyone want's the Jiffy car please feel free. I'll see if I'll hook up to some open cars upcoming races.

That's why I think we don't need "no yellows" here, since the track should be wide enough.
If people still mess up a lot here, one has to question if they should change to "easier" cars...

Cleveland is probably the widest track of all and we still had a bunch of yellows. rFactor does have a habit of being over eager when it comes to yellows too.

I like yellows.. thy provide some rest to me and drivers which need a break from 100% pushing, I can keep faster drivers in sight, and they prevent of me running into a crashed car. Only "con" is they loosen my concetration if too often.. but its still "three to one" in yellows favor. Ok, if we take too long races its 3:2.. still one point leading...

This is NOT debatable. The decision has been made, and there is NO turning back now. We gave plenty of warnings, and we sure as hell were really patient during those loooong yellow fests everybody had to endure. The 1988 road america race was full green, so it's not that strange to have green to green races either.

+1 There's a reason why we announced the rule change and then locked the thread.

Nuffin' wrong with the occassional yellow, they can really provide a much-needed breath (or a good opportunity to make a complete fool of yourself as I demonstrated at Cleveland). Just having one yellow after another is annoying. Sometimes I didn't even cross the finish line before the next was called. Then, the whole thing begins to become pointless...
I suppose the cars are really to demanding for many. Both in driving and setting up.
