1982 World Endurance Championship - Schedule

I once had an 83 version of the track on my game but I can't find it anymore. Still, when's the next race post appearing?

It will appear this year.

Standard practice is one week before the qualy date, but in the case of WEC it may be two weeks. Will check and get back to you.

I'm wondering, if practice is two weeks before the first qualy date, shouldn't the car selection for Spa have opened yesterday or did I suddenly forget how to read a calendar?

I've been assuming so far that we use the 1988 version since there's no, for example, 1979 version or anything. I can remember that there's a Spa 1979 for the game Grand Prix 4. but I don't remember if it worked well of even if the track looked good

Wasn't the bus stop chicane non-existent in '82 or was it already there?

The chicane was built when the track was shortened. I think there really was a bus halt there, as an excuse to extend the public road.

the version i made is based on the 88 version

the most coolest part of the early 80s version are the close guard rails and closer pine trees
from blanchimont till bustop there were no gravel traps just a small strip of grass between your car  then the rail so nothing in between and alot of shadows and forrest , a blast  

anyway hope david can do some magic in the future to close those rails

Odd-in the photos on this page you see the #1 Porsche with the low wing and the high wing in place...not at the same time of course :-)
